Watching Jade at OSU it was a delight to see both the intensity as she approached her events and her support for her teammates. I am glad for her making the team and I am glad for the team having her.

Great on beam and vault, heer uneven bar routine was OK. Not one totally vertical handstand in the routine. But I like her grit.

The woman commentator was terrible, can't they find someone who know's gymnastics. Go Jade!

Man, I'm getting tired of the commentators on this one. They can't heap praise on Chiles and Biles fast enough, even when they have absolutely disastrous performances. But bring this chick on who does a decent job with a consistent and powerful performance, and you can't find anything nice to say about her. "she's not up to the standard for the American team" Why the heck not? Is there some requirement I'm failing to understand? Or do I have to be explicit and ask why the white girl gets trashed when you can't do anything but slobber all over the non-white girls? That's not fair to the athletes or to your audience. Do better.

I think she's a beautiful gumnast. But what i admire most about her is her unflappable calmness. I definitely don't have that under pressure. 😂

She is money in the bank - just never falls at all, it does not seem. Not to mention the experience she has winning GOLD on the floor x in Tokyo.

I know many people like Jade, BUT I just feel like her gymastics is STILL not quite strong enough. When I watch her perform--she just seems more on the "amateur" side when compared to the others. She makes me nervous. I KNEW she would have "wobbles" & other mistakes BEFORE she even began her routines on each event. That mistake she made on the uneven??? THAT simply CANNOT happen at the Olympics! The OTHER countries will EAT HER ALIVE! *I am SO SORRY that those other gymnasts got injured. WHAT they must be feeling KNOWING they had a strong shot for making the team had it not been for that & I feel they are better gymnasts overall than Jade (at this point).

That handstand mid rotation on the uneven bars was just an incredible feat of strength. I know nothing about gymnastics and it just looked cool to me. I would have given bonus points not a deduction.

I've always really liked this young lady, not a huge fan of her bars. Her form isn't great, and a lot of missed handstands, but overall, I really like Jade and I'm pleased she made the team.

I’m no Jade Carey fan, but I commend her for pushing herself to do the all around instead of just being a vault/floor specialist. It would’ve been nice for the commentators to mention that instead of mentioning her trip at the vault final in 2021. It’s trials to determine the TEAM and it’d be nice if more of the athletes were shown a little more equal screen time and comments.

Jade is a workhorse. She doesn’t blast off into space, she isn’t flashy, but she is an absolute anchor. When you need her to nail it, she nails it.

I didn't come in here to throw sand in the faces of her doubters...but it's a victory I feel for us Jade Carey Crew...we've been in the trenches for this young lady as well as for Jordan. But so much more than that, is the media who low prioritizes her. That needs to change NBC!!!

Jade is a veteran and her experience will lead the team in Paris. Jade is the most consistent team member and will make the team a contender for the Gold medal.

Most underrated member of the US Team. She's Ms. Consistency across the board, just not as much flash generally speaking. No step outs, no falls, she sticks her landings, just solid gymnastics. She's the best shot for the US on a good balance beam performance and it doesn't seem like they appreciate just how reliable she is overall.

Holy crap. That was the best Cheng I've ever seen her do. I've given up on her coming-on to the table square, but here she at least came off the table square and wrapped the twist rather neatly.

She's not my favorite. I'm not thrilled she's on the team. However, she did her job and I can't say she doesn't deserve it.
