What's your most haunting memory from working with children?

Calling cps is literally a nightmare, I recently called for someone and the person who answered was rude, had no idea what i was talking about, and generally just made me feel like an idiot for calling.

Bruh the CPS worker is crazy

This either didn’t happen or that isn’t a real CPS worker bc I know of cases where children were taken away from parents because of a SINGLE flea the worker found in the house (the kid was 7)
