Best of the aerial footage (The outakes are subjectively taken out by myself) from the 1975 Nürburgring Nordschleife F1 race. The footage from the air this year was particularly good I think. The sound from the cars from the air is "music". The ground footage was very limited this year. Even at Flügplatz TV footage was absent it seems (I've only seen small film cuts at that point from this year)
German Grand Prix 1975 Fact: Pole Position was taken by Niki lauda - 6 min 58 sec (Nordschleide configuration 22.835 km) Only F1 lap under 7 minutes in history was set this year by Niki Lauda on a dry track - The 22.835 configuration doesn't exist today - Today it's 20.81 km (old start / finish section demolished under the building of the GP Track that was finished in 1984 (GP track + Nordschleife combined are 25.947 km)
After this they drove on Nordschleife one last time in 1976 (some wet som dry sectors under the race where Niki Lauda crashed at Bergwerk) The safety demands in general increased year by year and led to Hockenheim replacing Nürburgring after this. That was so far the end of the Nordschleife on F1 Calender after that....
Personally I think that to save the F1 sport ....It's time ....it's time to return to the "Green Hell" - F1 today have no aspects whatsoever that can interest anybody other than "nerds" in my subjective opinion....
