Great idea for a video! So on point 🩺 ❤ AND IMPORTANT as we are losing nurses like crazy to retirement post-pandemic. Keep rocking your channel David. As an early adopter — I am HERE FOR IT ☀ Dr. D

How did you become a CNA? College or business that paid for you?

Im in my second semester of nursing school (BScN) and I still watch these videos to remind me of why I'm doing this to myself lmao. I got my high school credits at 25, which took me about 2 years, did 2 years of electives (psych, ethics, etc) and now I'm almost finished my 1st year (out of 4). Nursing is hard, stressful, rewarding and so broad all at the same time. I can't wait to graduate. One major thing when considering nursing is compassion. A nurse with compassion goes a very long way.

Hey David, I got a few questions.

What are the requirements when getting into becoming a Nursing assistant?

Would you recommend working as a Nursing Assistant while doing your Nursing Program at the same time?

Thank you, currently enrolling back into school. Debating my career, but I've always known I've wanted to help people. Health care has been an interesting route to me. No one has really explained how to get into it, only how it is to be a Registered Nurse. I appreciate this video.

Hi I’ve been in a little pickle so watching your video it seems that your cousin started freshly out of high school. But what about those as myself who are 22 and haven’t started even step one what would you recommend? I’m currently a nursing assistant and I’m just confused on where to start for nursing. I feel as if I’m old and time is ticking and I don’t know where I should start as a 22 year old is university still possible for me?
