Ответитьhey Cyclops...
you have a really nasty habit of eating people!
☝️🤕
👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьI’m assuming the flute player died
Ответитьmaaz
ОтветитьMan, this scene scared me so much in my childhood😂
ОтветитьJust bought the Hades 2 game. So this is why Polyphemus kept referring to Odysseus as "Nobody".
ОтветитьGreater love hath no one than this flute player, that he lay down his life for his friends......
ОтветитьUlysses was one damn cheeky rascal.....
ОтветитьPolyphemus got an eyeful
ОтветитьI recently had to translate this passage from the Odyssey in Greek class and I liked the 'Nobody' part of it. It was like this: Polyphemus was screaming out of the cave to his other cyclopses. They asked him: Τί σε βλάπτει; (Who is hurting you?). And he replied with Οὖτιν μέ βλάπτει! (Nobody is hurting me!). And then they asked him why he screamed. They thought he was sick and they eventually called his father, Poseidon.
Ответитьliterally me fr
ОтветитьI only watched the movie once in 1999. Who knows the name of the movie?
ОтветитьFlute guy was a real one for that.
Ответитьthis is how you escape a totalitarian regime, like oddysseus speach - an agnostic with dog and tree amulet but don t know what it means
ОтветитьThat part when he ate the first guy... I went over a decade without thinking of that
ОтветитьG tv h v miff. A
ОтветитьMelhor parte do filme . Kkk Será q eu tinha medo 😂😂😂
ОтветитьEssa dancinha me pega demais 😂
ОтветитьI used to simultaneously be scared of and feel sorry for the cyclops.
ОтветитьI seen this movie with my father when I was a kid, and the only reason I searched for it now was because this scene left a mental scar on my brain forever, I was absolutely terrified when he picked up that man and ate him it never left me.
Obviously it’s more humorous now but it’s great to see it again, me and that cyclops had to meet again someday
Soldiers with laws and eating my food, while we don't have laws here and we eat humans 😂😂😂😂!!! Really telling them F your laws and you ain't going to control me in my land outsiders 😂😂😂❤😊.
ОтветитьW flute guy
ОтветитьIn all the books I read about the cyclopes tale, he actually ate 4 men haha
ОтветитьI remember seeing this in school and being so terrified lol
ОтветитьI love how Odysseus is like a father to his men. As they panic, he gently tries to console them and immediately comes up with a plan to get them all out of the cave alive.
ОтветитьNO!!!!
Eh...why not?
🤔
Because men...do not eat one another.
Cyclops do!😂🤣
If he had been a titan, he'd regenerate in no time.
Ответить2X speed eye stabbing
ОтветитьPolyphemus' actions were all justified. imagine you come back home after work and you see a dozen or so little men that broke into your house and are stealing your stuff and eating your food. i would react the same.
ОтветитьWish they made more mythological creature movies like this
Ответитьthank you for uploading this scene
ОтветитьHonestly, that guy with the flute you should’ve stopped and shut the hell up, bro you could’ve went all the way to the right of the cage started playing it, and then immediately went to the left. Granted, he sacrificed himself to everyone could escape…… but that was just dumb!!!!
ОтветитьY'all be watching this when you 12+
Our history teacher made us watch this when we were in 1st grade and I still remember this scene 🤪
Who disliked this?
ОтветитьAhhhh! My SS teacher showed me this in 6TH GRADE IT WAS SO 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮
ОтветитьThe look on all their faces when the cyclops is first walking in is of “What ….the….fuck?” 😂
ОтветитьPolyphemus more like Polydemon.
ОтветитьI watched this as a kid and is absolutely scarred me.
ОтветитьThis shit gave me fucking nightmares as a kid.
Ответить💚
ОтветитьThis is a core memory for me I saw it once and I scared me when I was like 5
Ответитьrip flute dude a true hero
ОтветитьFor some reason I can't quite remember right now the gods and the greeks tended to take the whole hospitality thing REALLY seriously, and while the heroes conduct is hardly befitting a guest, (an honest guest would wait and ask permission first, I think), the abject wickedness of the cyclops leads me to believe that perhaps the heroes were the cyclops's punishment for his misdeeds.
