ОтветитьI make those all the time like you did ✅. I use The Bolner’s Fiesta Taco Seasoning & those same Tortillas. I take them to work. Microwave for about 1 1/2 minutes ❤. Your Cheese Burrito looked so delicious. Thank You So Much. From Mikes Grill & BBQ in L.A.

ОтветитьYour grilled cheese burrito reminds me of the grilled cheese chalupas that Taco Bell had for a time. I loved those! The crispy cheese on that thick puffy shell, yum! Have you ever made those thick puffy shells? I saw someone on here so it with a Native American fry bread recipe. Love your channel so much! ❤

ОтветитьIf you freeze on a baking sheet first, you can put the burritos in the ziplock w/o the parchment and they won't stick together.
Saves 💰
I do this about once a month when I cook a pork shoulder in my crock pot for carnitas.
Then a quart each... Cold ... So the cheese won't melt...
Shredded Pork
Mexican spicy rice
Homemade chunky pintos, most left whole
Shredded cheese of choice
Also
A 29 oz can enchilada sauce or salsa
Options:
2 cans black olives drained and crushed (just squeeze them in your hands)
A quart of carmelized onions and bell peppers
All this makes about 6 quarts, or 24 cups. 1 cup per burrito = 24 burritos.
Can be microwaved from frozen, but we like best thawed in fridge overnight and shallow fried chimichanga style, topped with sour cream, guacamole on a bed of shredded lettuce or slaw.
What I've never been able to figure out is why the cheap commercial burritos microwave so much better then home made ones. If you microwave any of them it will always be partly lava, no matter where they are made, but I've always seemed to have a harder time with nuking home made burritos. The are all more carbs then my doc says I should be eating but as an old latch key kid I have around a decade of memories of coming home from school and heating up a microwave burrito before starting my chores, then homework, then starting dinner.
