The story was boring? Just say you don’t want story at all in DOOM and focus on the game, because those parts are actually really entertaining when you cover them, whereas when you call the story out for trying to exist without so much as attempting to expound on why you think it’s so boring, it just sounds like you’re attacking it for entertainment value and nothing more because you don’t care. It’s fine if you don’t care, by the way, but don’t poison the well with that when it’s already brackish water.

It's not that they see more colors (the sea bugs, that is), it's that their brains can't process colors like we do, so they have more rods and cones to independently pick out the colors. Or something to that effect. If anyone wants me to go find that paper, i'll do some googling.

Don't think I've played Doom since... Doom 2? Maybe whatever followed that? (I had hours of fun making my own WAD files and playing those of others in the day).
Half the fun was spending hours trying to find the hidden room... and I don't need a damn tutorial to help with that or anything else. Do they even have hidden rooms anymore? They sure seem to have tutorials.
