I agree; I'm endlessly deluded by demons. So when I thought the Orthodox Church might be true, I realized it was just demons telling me that.

Genuine question, if we are unable to discern the holy spirit or a spiritual experience, how would we then say Abraham, Paul (on the road to Damascus) and others were able to do so? They wouldn't have had much to rely upon in regards to tradition etc. Especially the earlier we go, Paul I mention because obviously he was in the midst of establishing the church itself in far away places.

We’ll careful on the paradigm argument: because saints were tormented by the devil in the desert and the devil would try to scare them… while us sinners in the modern world mainly get left alone by the devil because we are already lost on our own flesh: so it’s more likely for us to have positive visions by angels. I’ve had two dreams with positive outcomes: both times I repented my sins before bed. I think you guys should focus more on helping Mormons than Protestants. At least the Protestants believe in the Trinity and only read the Bible.

I thought i had discernment of spirits, having dreams and visions and being able to see and communicate with good and evil spirits. The demons I spoke with as a child said they gave me gifts from Satan. That's why i can receive visions of the future and see and communicate with spirits. Ever since i rejected the devil and became a Christian they have been torturing me, in demonic attack like hands touching me and spirits biting, the only way i can be temporarily be healed is people laying hands and praying in tongues. No churches believe me, and i have been rejected by many. But now i understand that my wicked demonic visions of demons with pitch black eyes are all of prelest. Thank you for making me grow in truth.

My whole time in Protestantism I was trying to hear the voice of God because everyone was always like God told me or laid it on my heart and I never got it. I’m looking into orthodoxy now.

One Protestant response not addressed is "What if the Holy Spirit is leading men to different churches? God works in mysterious ways and maybe having so many Christian churches is part of His plan". But I suppose that isn't an answer, but rather an admission of having no idea who is being led and who is under delusion.

When I was a Calvinist I remember having times when I wondered if I was deceived. After years of living in the Reformed culture, I got tired of the constant debate over doctrines. AMIllenialism vs Post Millennialism. Paedo baptism vs believers baptism. Calvinists were always in conflict and debate. I thought to myself, if Sola Scriptura was true then why was it so hard to come to any level of certainty? Orthodoxy makes so much more sense. Because I don't have to figure out the Christain faith by my mind alone. Protestantism is American individualism applied to the Bible and then calling it Christianity.

Fr, have you ever thought about a payed cursus of philosophy online? I know that you already has a playlist, but a more extensive and formal one would be good.
