Farewell to Les Munro - R.I.P.
ОтветитьTHIS should be our ENGLISH national anthem--the greatest !!
Ответитьin the words of bomber Harris "were going to start a fire in the belly of the enemy that will burn his black heart out" ...fuck those miserable apologetics who protest against Sir Arthur Harris and accuse him of war crimes . what was done to the Germans would have been done to the British by Germans if the Luftwaffe had the means to do it .they certainly tried to do it. he was the right man for the job ,however horrible that job was. No one ever accuses Gen Curtiss Le May of war crimes despite the fact that the B-29 fire raids on Tokyo and other Japanese cities killed thousands more civilians than did the Atomic bomb drops on Hiroshima and Nagasaki . maybe that's a "racist" thing, racist being the popular trendy word that liberal progressive protest against anything types love to use , when they themselves are more guilty of it than anyone else...another thing Harris said "they have sown the wind now they will reap the whirlwind".....great march!!!.....................marty
ОтветитьCracked, you're the best...
ОтветитьThanks cracked, I can die happy now.
ОтветитьThanks Cracked, =}
ОтветитьBring me a whale bone, I have an idea...
ОтветитьThe poster of this video is probably so confused by the whale bone references
ОтветитьAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!
MUST GET IMAGE OUT OF HEAD
Well Cracked, you chose a nice piece of Music to listen to while reading about a guy mangling his junk with a whalebone
Ответитьall hail the whalebone......
ОтветитьI was 16 when I tried to join the R.A.F considerd at to young
ОтветитьSo annoying that a bunch of 21st century kids have to litter a video with bullshit references.
ОтветитьFor anyone who cares, the BBC documentary ‘Are our kids rough enough Chinese School’ uses this as background music when showing the students school lives lol
Ответитьan old hit from laster years some one has just put on here
ОтветитьHave had this as an earworm for several days now (but what a noble earworm!), so I'm trying to exorcise it by listening to as many versions as possible! If all else fails, I may have to arrange it for String Quartet myself... Thanks for posting this iconic version.
ОтветитьI imagined the whole whalebone incident in a grainy, black and white, sped up old-timey film because of this music.
ОтветитьGoosebumps every time.
ОтветитьVery stirring stuff
ОтветитьHeard the Prague Phil Version, this is the best. They don’t get the swells in the parade bits.
ОтветитьMiss playing this although we did sooo much for years. Lockdown has allowed me to appreciate things so much more. 🦋🌻✌🏾
ОтветитьI love this its so awesome
ОтветитьThis was born on the 9th October 1955 12 days before the official release of The Dambusters March and it was my father's favourite so it has a special place in my heart. I think it is really cool that you are sharing this music. I look forward to hearing the next installment. Stay safe J.
