Hi! Just made this last night for my mom's potluck at the church. I quadrupled the recipe and baked it this morning. Soooo soft, fluffy and delish! My first time making it and it was so perfect! I decorated it with flowers made from red, green and yellow bell peppers and green onions for the stem. I wish I could show you 😊. Thank you for sharing your recipe!

ОтветитьWhat kinda flour is that? I tried to make it with 405 flour and my bread doesnt get jiggly and make thosebig bubbles when i try to poke it, it infact deflates so easily that most of the bobbles go away!😢

ОтветитьI think she actually means dry yeast .. not instant yeast… because instant yeast only ferments in the oven… in fact I used instant yeast, followed all the directions and have absolutely 0 bubbles

ОтветитьWhen you mention doing two sets of coil folds 30 minutes apart, do you mean doing one coil fold in one direction, waiting 30 minutes, and then doing a coil fold in the other direction (perpendicular to the first coil fold)?
And when proofing/resting at room temperature/resting in the fridge, should it be airtight or somewhat loose of a covering?
And what kind of scale do you use (if you use one? I was wondering what kind of scale to get that hopefully won't break the bank of a college student.
I'm sorry if these sound like stupid questions. I've never baked before, and would like to start! This recipe looks so nice, and the instructions are straightforward. I'm just a little bad at understanding.
