This theme perfectly captured the intended atmosphere of Gotham for those 5 months. Pure chaos with a literal slow countdown to its destruction with only a small group trying to do all they can to stop the bomb. Gordon's part in the final battle was the most important and one of the most epic because it was essentially a gigantic adrenaline rush
ОтветитьThanks man! Yeah I liked the ending as well, but I was somewhat disappointed with how Bane was essentially swapped for his accomplice. I would've liked it more if we saw Bane and Talia fighting together. I do really, really like TDKR, but for the first time I saw a Nolan movie in which I genuinely would've done quite some things differently, but oh well. The score is definitely not one of 'm, fuck beings Zimmer went all out! Thanks for commenting!
ОтветитьWell at least Bane was featured alot in the film. Another thing mate can you tell me which part of the music is starting from 0:28
ОтветитьThat's Underground Army (official OST track 6 I believe).:) All tracks I used are in the description in the concurring order. With the side note that I heavily re-edit the order within the part of Risen from Darkness. But it's fairly linear aside from that.
ОтветитьAnd yeah Hardy rocked as Bane. I was disappointed with some of his prologue re-dubs though. And with his last scene. Though actually I'm disturbed most of all about him grabbing a shotgun, seems really out of character at the end there. He should've tried to choke him like he did with the rest.
ОтветитьSilrian... Really... Where can I start? I am a very great fan of Hans Zimmer, and I love all of his music, even more the music he made for The Dark Knight Trilogy. I started to look for some mixes and extended versions, then I found your first video that you uploaded... I was in awe and shock to hear such a beautiful mix. Then I proceeded to hear the rest of your work. I really love your work, man. I hope I can see and hear more of your work later. Keep up the good work! :D
ОтветитьWow, haha, thanks! Bit overwhelmed by your appreciation.:) To be realistic though, 99% of all this still is Zimmer and his team, I mean it's because of his consistent epic genius that his music is easily re-arranged like this. It's just that sometimes I think like "Damn if only that would follow up with that other piece." And I was like, wait a minute, I can do that myself more or less. And others now seem te appreciate it as well so that's a double win.:D
Ответить8:11 I love this part right here, I only wish it would last longer
ОтветитьWhat is the source for the WAYNE MANOR II OUTRO? I swear I'm still missing essential tracks for TDKR. Or I haven't slept in a minute, work being what it is. LoL
ОтветитьSorry to jump into a month old conversation but I have respectfully defend Bane's apparent subservience to Talia Al Ghul. It's a misread. The Nolan Brothers like to play scenes against each other. Layer upon layer. Talia and Bane in the pit is a deliberate reflection of the moment in which it is revealed. Bane is Talia's protector by choice not by subservience. Neither would have gotten as far as they did without each other. Indeed they are foils for Bruce's and Selina's own story.
ОтветитьThere's plenty not on the (or all) officially released OST's. From what I gather some folks managed to extract 5 large tracks from the TDKR Z+ iphone app, those were in essence most of the released soundtrack, but in an earlier form and they contain excl material from the movies: Wayne Manor (I), Wayne Manor (II), Bane (I), Bane (II), Selina Kyle and Orphan. Then theres the bonus tracks No Stone Unturned, Risen From Darkness, The End, All Out War, The Shadows Betray You and Junkie XL's remix.
ОтветитьAnd then there's my remixes.(A):P (And plenty of stellar ones from others!) Too bad WMG took down my TDK trilogy mix and my TDKR Ending sequence track. Still busy on working out how to get them back on here.
ОтветитьI fully agree, I see Talia and Bane as equal accomplices, though with quite different... talents. As for the shotgun I'm not happy about that. It weakens Bane's... efficient consistency. I love all three movies to DEATH but where BB and the TDK both got 10 stars from me, TDKR gets 9 for a few little things that disappointed me in the second half of the movie (up to Bruce being thrown in the pit the film's still a 10 for me, but the second half has some flaws imo).
Ответитьthat first one sounds a bit like the arkham city ost
ОтветитьWhere did you get this sweet wallpaper?
ОтветитьThe Internet! Good luck!:D ... No just kidding, well, I actually did get it from the internet obviously, but I can't remember where exactly. It's fan-made though (which I thought made it even more sick, seriously, fan art can be better than the official stuff these days.). If you google search on dark knight rises fan art or fan wallpaper and perhaps set a search filter for a high resolution I'm sure you can find it. It's not a rare pic or anything. But yeah I really like it as well.:P
ОтветитьTerrific!!! :D
ОтветитьI see where you drew the connection, but keep in mind The Dark Knight trilogy came well before the MW series. Maybe it is possible that MW2 inspired Zimmer to replicate that into TDKR.
ОтветитьI want this played at my funeral. Epicness!
ОтветитьDamn dude, that's a nice sentiment but I sincerely hope you don't have to for quite some time.XD I get it though, Zimmer's at the top of on my list for that as well. (Only preceded by van Beethoven.)
ОтветитьTrue, morbid as this discussion is, I'm not a stranger to it either haha. Glad you liked the track man, but think about Bruce in the film and choose to live!:D Deshi Basara!^^
ОтветитьAmazing remix :)
ОтветитьThe first Dark knight movie came out in 2008, MW2 came out 2009, that's not well before, plus you would have to know when he recorded it all. Just because a movie, game, show etc is out doesn't mean it was recorded that year. Some artist, beat makers, musicians, song writers etc do their work well before the actual release, sometimes years. The the least a year before, but people are known to do it during the same year too. They could have both been worked on the same time or near.
ОтветитьI like this mix, it's pretty fluid and transitions well enough that it sounds like one big track together.
ОтветитьThanks! That's exactly what I was aiming for!:) My desire to make these mixes arose from frustration that OST's are often just small pieces and cues nit together, and although Zimmer puts a lot of great effort into delivering a good score album, I still get frustrated sometimes that it doesn't feature the structure or progressions I'd like. So hence I try to make them myself.:)
Ответитьactual the first movie was batman begins 2005 :)
ОтветитьYeah it really surprises me how many people think Dark Knight is the first one, yet 1) you here the word trilogy constantly and 2) TDKR was the last one, which leaves only one option.XD
ОтветитьFantastic work!
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьI'm not the hero Gotham deserves, but the one it needs
Ответитьi love it
ОтветитьCrank this up everytime i hit the gym, gets me focused.
Ответить@Srilan777: Is there any way you could remix inception and xaviers hope !
ОтветитьI like this even more than the actual soundtrack.
ОтветитьThank you very much for this great remix! :)
ОтветитьIt is so beautiful!!! It is the perfection itself!!! I am subscribing!!!
ОтветитьMasterpiece.
