Yet you idiots support a mass murdering country ran by p*dos and skitzo pervs. Sounds legit
ОтветитьDo you think they'll put the Dodge name back on pick-up trucks?
ОтветитьActually, Stallantis is a disease.
"I'm sorry Sir. You don't have long to live. It's gone from your head, through your heart, straight for your wallet. Get your affairs in order and kiss your a$$ goodbye". 😅
Stellantis needs to just build street cars and stay out of trouble.
Ответить(REAL) MOPAR OR NOCAR! The newer stuff is where it’s at. Merging with other companies that live to make JUNK isn’t real MOPAR heritage! My EXCELLENT self-taught cousin just put 2 new head gaskets in out 2012 HEMI Jeep apparently RARE, very limited edition Overland Grand Cherokee 2 days ago, this thing has almost as much power as an SRT-8 stock, by the way, and he did a special head torquing technique I didn’t know about, but do know the stupid displacement on demand causes the head gasket issues by acting like a Jake Brake, and the gasket doesn’t like it. That engine never ran this good since we got the truck used around 2013! It runs almost silent, and has the higher horsepower it was supposed to have, but we suspect never did from the factory, and is insanely fast and will easily smoke all 4 tires full posi, with EASE now! 😮😳 It runs as perfect as possible for a 4 stroke! It is exciting and scary as it was built to be! This truck may be some of the last bastion of MOPAR heritage and my as much of a MOPAR fanatic as I am, cousin’s excellent mechanic work brought it 107% back again! And it will be dead reliable because his only purpose as a mechanic is it MUST BE RELIABLE, PERIOD! Fine workmanship and his wife who wrenches as well is also amazing! THIS is why I love this brand! That HEMI is still a legend!! I am over the moon about the literal resurrection! Now, for an AFFORDABLE displacement on demand (DOD) delete kit with oil squirters for the cam off the DOD oil lines!! 👍🏻😋 cheers all!! 👏🤘👌
ОтветитьI just looked this one up and found one near me. 2023 and there is a $85,000.00 mark up/adjust on it. That’s right, 85 grand. That’s freaking insane!!!
Ответитьthis is not just MOPAR; it's the corporate world period. soulless.
ОтветитьTony..is that a REAL Classic Chrysler Boat behind you????
ОтветитьTony.. it seems to me that stellantis is trying to suck up to the public while slowly killing chrysler..dodge..ram
ОтветитьI know you are right. The 60s Hemi did the same thing until the pan and system were right. They showed you what to do.
ОтветитьThis reminds me of why I love my Mazda. You look into the car just a little bit, and you get to hear Dave Coleman talk about how they gave the Miata a turbo-ready forged bottom-end "to reduce vibration." Or how they updated the RX8 hubs to directly swap into Miatas so you'd never need to buy race wheel bearings. Or how they redesigned the shift linkage to be more durable in racing, even though it was fine on the street. Or, "This bolt was a PITA and cost me a track session trying to get it off, so I went to work on Monday and made it easier to access on the new car." I love that stuff.
ОтветитьThey just don't want the class action lawsuit for a known design issue.
ОтветитьWhat's a popsicle stick do to an intake valve?
ОтветитьMaking things better in a China world does not help the bankroll
ОтветитьFix It Again Tony
ОтветитьAs a GM fan boy, imagine how I feel!
ОтветитьBack in the day the Mopar logo meant a community...today they just use it on a Fiat.
ОтветитьChrysler designed and build this engine, so it's Chrysler's fault it's crap. People should stop blaming Stellantis for all of Chrysler's problems.
ОтветитьTo quote my dad, "Son, never buy a Chrysler."
Ответитьdood these corpo’s don’t give a flying f, they put sensors and data gathering devices in your car and spy on you now. then they sell they data or use it against you to not allow warranty claims. new cars are NOT worth it
Ответитьthe mopar you once loved is DEAD. just like rock n roll missem both.
Ответитьbaffles yes , but better yet a dry sump.
ОтветитьAll I can of after listening to Tony was the Bruce Springsteen “ Glory Days “ & they were.
Now day no one gives a shit anymore, it is all about the bottom dollar
The only connection big corpo has with customers is their wallets
ОтветитьThis is another sad example of society today. Corporations and big business don't want us to have the answers so that we have to rely on their stealerships. It's all about the money and no longer about enjoyment of the product.
ОтветитьDark days for a Mopar man.
ОтветитьHad "Direct Connection" decals on my 73' Dart Sport 340. Had the DC catalog with the list in the back to get into particular bracket times. Bought a purple shaft cam available thru the catelog too.
ОтветитьMost of the chargers and challengers out in California are driven by fellas and lovely ladies, if the the light turns green and they don’t move because they’re looking at a phone, don’t beep your horn. It might be the last horn you ever beep. The cars look kool.I would never get one for the same reason I’m not getting a gold wing. Awesome videos.I’m from bayside.
ОтветитьI have said for years the Chrysler/Mopar hasn't made a decent car since the late 60s.
ОтветитьGuys like this are a disappearing treasure.
ОтветитьGreat info. There are two guys that are using their $160,000 Challengers for their intended purpose. The rest sit around with plastic still on their seats and get passed on to another owner thru hyped up auctions with the same intent!
ОтветитьChrysler does not exist anymore. It died years ago...with Iacocca and got completely wrecked with Daimler I went to school at Motech in Livonia, Mi. in the late '80s. Still a Chrysler entity at the time. I wouldn't touch a Stellantis product with a ten-foot yard-stick. Such a joke. Now they're shutting down the development center and trying to move out of the US. :P to them. Memories are good but last 25 years?....nothing worth remembering.
ОтветитьStellantis will be owned by the Chinese soon!! Chrysler will be bankrupt soon!!
ОтветитьThe same reason I would never buy a new Ford F150. Totally different from the dependable 1989 that I had for 19 years (still ran great when I sold it). New ones use a RUBBER TIMING BELT in OIL to run the oil pump. Guaranteed planned obsolescence. At least the old 300 (4.9) engine ran forever. So I can relate to the old Mopar vs the new “disguised as” Mopar.
ОтветитьTony, when you get to the bottom of it, is it the engineers or management? I suspect, without knowing, that there are still a few engineers who got into the field because they thought it would be cool to make something better, and then learned that isn't the business model for this company (and darn few others).
ОтветитьStellantis is not American anymore !
ОтветитьA FOOLE AND HIS MONEY ARE SOON DEPARTED..........
ОтветитьReplace "mopar " with 'star wars " and arguments are identical 😅
ОтветитьNew mopars attract wreckless owners and easy thefts. I had a 392 charger be wreckless cut me off speeding and almost cause a accident. drivers like that make me not want a modern Mopar
ОтветитьI'll never spend 150 grand on everything in my whole life total, combined....😂
My childhood 1975 Honda Z50A, is still what I'm using as my daily driver, and I'm 52 years old...lol😅
Had a hemispheric years ago in the 60s. Would never buy a car with 16 plugs.
ОтветитьIf ur paying $50k for a motor it should handle a few drag races sprint car motors can handle up to a full season of racing out of 100 days of year and they cost that much.
ОтветитьThey are lame beyond comprehension.
ОтветитьI agree 100% with this video. I also follow RacerX. In my opinion, Stellantis is trying to cover themselves from legal action. The engine does in fact, have a design defect that would require a very expensive recall, or at the very least a reflashing of the engine control computer, to limit its output in an effort to save it self.
ОтветитьStellantis sounds like an evil corporation. It’s no longer dodge or Plymouth or Chrysler, that is all dead.
ОтветитьLet's be honest. Upper management knows that 99% of the buyers will be posers who just want to drive these around town and show off how much money they can waste.
ОтветитьTony! It's Very UN-AMERICAN!!!
Sad!
There was a time we felt like a team manufacturer and users and shops.
Engineers are getting to a place they don’t care about service you may want to do. They program things we all hate defaults we wish worked the opposite way. Some manufacturers in 2024 lock the ECM/PCM’s only giving access to some or not at all. Those I know who do tuning are after efficiency so emission really not affected and don’t enter into the picture except for a few who dump excess fuel to try to cool combustion trying get to much power out but always ways that don’t hurt emissions and there is a range you can maximize for area that you will be using the vehicle the manufacturer has to make things fat and short on timing because not knowing area of its us and fuel quality available. Makes me love the older vehicles more now. At first I liked ECM/PCM because you could fine tune without getting smell of gas on your hands. Now all I want is a carburetor or carburetors and conventional distributor.
Could he setup his suspension not to allow as much front to lift or will the G-forces push the oil back away from pump pickup could they add a baffle in the pan try to fix that? Sounds like a future recall.
Ответитьi have one of those tall super stock six pack naniflods with popcile sticks
