dude i plug my ipod in to my computer and it dosent evan register it charges but it wont snyc what so ever

That is terrible. What you must do then, is tell me what kind of computer you have (Mac/PC) and what kind of iPod you have (iPod Touch, iPad, iPod Nano) and then I can provide you with a full setup guide.

Here.You must charge the iPod Classic until it is FULL!!! Then, you will have to switch the Hold button OFF and then ON 1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.) 2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step. Try plugging it into another USB in your computer. Install updates to iTunes and computer. Restart computer. Tell me if this does not work.

Worst case senario, I will tell you how to do a full reboot, and reprogram of your iPod Classic
