Midnight Madness - "Fagabeefe”

I was actually rooting for the Blue Team. I wanted that kick-ass computer that they had. No marshmellows would ever come near it.

I wrote a review for this movie a few years back on the web and couldn't believe my eyes when I got an e-mail from Brian Frishman (Barf) tonight thanking me for the review! Awesome. I have his e-mail address, but won't post it on the web. Wouldn't be right. Still, it would be nice if everyone that liked the film could send him a note.

I thought we were the only kids who laughed about this back in the 80's. It's truly a treasured scene amongst my homeys.

@jaleach123 Too funny! I am 33 now, so when I was a kid, this movie ruled on HBO! I know a guy out in CA that is the real-life Barf! Frishman should meet up with his real cast-character 30 years later LOL! We call the guy "Beef" instead of Barf though lol! We even had him see the movie and do "Fag-a-beefe?!" Funniest part of the film among many! Wonder if it was scripted or he did it improv.? Let Frishman know that he has another life-long fan due to this film! My favorite college flick!

Why can't they make good quality clean fun movies like this anymore? Now 30 years later, I can still say FAGABEEFE, and we still laugh till we can't breathe!! Yes! Watched over and over on HBO.... This is when HBO was the best.

I love that there are so many other fans of the movie and even more this scene. My brothers and I will still laugh hysterically when one of us says fagabeefe. The other scene that we love is "E, eagle, Easter, Easter Bunny, Easter Parade!!"

I really wish someone would put this out on bluray someday. Clean it up, get interviews and special features. Give it the treatment it deserves. I think it is still owned by Disney so there is probably not much chance, but they did just give the rights to Wall-E to Criterion~so anything is possible...

I used to say this in school (elementary) and some knew. But couple weeks into me saying it everyone in my school knew amd loved the movie.

This scene was hilarious when I saw this as a rental as a kid. Even before I was familiar with why it was so funny, it still cracked me up with just how funny it sounded!

Obligatory born in '92. I'd watch this every summer with my mom while visiting my grandpa. We'd watch it EVERY night! It was recorded on a VHS along with Karate Kid 2.

This quote just popped randomly in my head - very hard to google this now a days but, it made me laugh how many ever million years later.

I remember about 25-ish years ago, I worked at a pizza restaurant. I was the pizza maker, and there was a guy running the register. He yelled at me randomly one day "hey FAGABEEFE" and we ended up being good friends after that. Nobody else knew what the hell we were talking about.

I got a DVD copy off Amazon. This is a Disney production. Honest to god.
