Ok, so old pocket watch of that era. Take the glass side and put it in the palm of your left hand, then take the palm of your right hand and place it over the back. Then push your hands together while cupping the edges a little with your left hand. Now rotate your right hand while pushing in to start the watch unscrewing from the glass. Once it loosens you can either go the rest of the way with your fingers or just unscrew it all the way with your palm. Once done setting the watch, gently set the glass on the movement, align it, and screw down most of the way. But to seal it put it glass side to your palm and squeeze with the other palm and turn the other way. When you want to take the back off it’s the same process just place the back flat in your palm and do the same. In that era of watch a person ordered the movement separate from the case. So each will likely have a different mark inside.
