If you traveled at the speed of light or 99% you would think it would take 2.5m years but no! If you traveled at 99.9999999999999% the soeed of light, For the speed so you dont explode against the wall ill put in acceleration at 1G so its comfortable. How long to reach Andromeda at 99.9999999% light speed (1G acceleration)?
1. Acceleration phase (1G):
• Takes 10.4 years (your time) to reach 99.9999999% of light speed.
• You travel ~21,704 light-years while accelerating.
2. Coasting phase (at 99.9999999% of light speed):
• Distance left: ~2.48 million light-years.
• From Earth’s view: ~2.48 million years.
• Your time (due to time dilation): ~110.8 years.
3. Deceleration phase (1G):
• Takes 10.4 years (same as acceleration).
• Travels another ~21,704 light-years.

Final Travel Time:
• Your perspective: ~132 years.
• Earth’s perspective: ~2.5 million years.

Due to relativity, even though millions of years pass on Earth, you only experience ~132 years on the ship!

This is my favorite recording you’ve ever done but I have a bone to pick. The music after the session ends always wakes me up and it ruins what would otherwise be a perfect recording. Your voice is so soothing and sends me into the sweetest slumber but the guitar wakes me right back up and then I struggle to fall asleep after. I’ve had insomnia for years and I wish there would be a way to end this before the music starts in the last 30 min or so that doesn’t involve me waking up to do so

I would think that intergalactic stars would be great candidates for life, because they should be really "quiet" astronomically. In the sense that they're not dealing with asteroids, gamma ray bursts, and other dangerous phenomena that spill over from nearby stars.

Earth is in a pretty quiet place too relative to the rest of the Milky Way.
