Wake up, Space X has been given 5 billion so far to land man on the moon and all that's been achieved is to reach low earth orbit and crash and burn your American Tax dollars. Who's coughing up the other 5 Billion or more he will need to actually get there. Nothing new has ben achieved , even the landing back on earth has been done before. The first rocket to successfully land back on Earth was Blue Origin's "New Shepard" rocket, which achieved a vertical landing on November 23, 2015.
We cant even look after our own amazing planet ,what chance do we have on a planet that is alien and inhospitable to Human life we have no ability to terraform Mars so send Musk and he can live for the rest of his life in a Tin can.

I genuinely love how the sonic booms reach the crowd just as the booster is caught, almost like a fanfare signalling their success. Incredible.

The sonic boom happens when the rocket slows down below the speed of sound. It's probably just a second or two after the raptor rockets are fired up. This crowd was probably between 4 and 5 miles away based on how long it took the sound to reach them.
