OnePlus 6 Review: This is "The One" | Pocketnow

Still using this phone. Still loving it. Got way better with pie.

I really do not know why everybody tells that OP6 is the first OP phone with glass back. I still have an OP X that has aluminium frame and glass back (it was made between OP2 and OP3). Gorgeous phone, one of the best looking i've ever had!

So sad everyone here complains about a notch when 70% here are typing with an iPhone x and the remaining 30 % either have a horrible screen to body ratio .. enjoy the phone for what it is and that is a Beast

Video recording is unbelievable with one plus 6, Even better than p20 pro.

Bought it love it, the speed is crazy and it already updated to Android 9.0 official and stable!! Also i love how fast and no bullshit Oxygen OS is. The phone is good, like really good i cant recommend it enough especially considering the price of the competitors.

Apparently there are enough people wanting wireless charge and a headphone jack that Samsung has chosen to have both, at least for now.

The One Plus 6 doesn't support wireless charge and the 6T will not have the headphone jack so no One Plus 6 for me

Do wish it had dual front facing speakers, and never use wireless charging anyway.

Hi Mr. +Pocketnow. I would like to ask You a question because I had the same problem with 5T and OP 6 :(. I started to hear on 5T a buzzing/electronic noise that comes from the earpiece. I have found that You can hear this sound through the back panel as well, especially when the WIFI is turned on. I have reached a point where they had to refund the price of the 5T. After some research (one of them being Your OP6 review), I have decided to buy OP6 over LG G7 or Mate 10 Pro. But I have found that OP6 does this buzzing/electronic sound as well. :( The best way to hear it is to be in a quiet room (at night) and have the WIFI turned on. It's not so clear at OP6 (maybe due to the glass back and smaller grill at top), but it is still annoying, especially in phone calls. :( You said the phone calls are "very crisp". Which is good, but didn't you notice this buzzing sound that was coming from the earpiece?

So, I have some more questions for You: Are there other flagships or lower phones that make some kind of sound? I know there are electronics inside and they might make a noise, but when this noise is so loud that You can hear it when You speak to another person during phone calls, I think it starts to matter :( I hope I will not ruin Your experience with 5T or 6 if You do hear the sound :( What is your take on this?

If only it had front facing stereo speakers I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

i agree about gestures vs buttons. i love gestures but i had to switch back to buttons because, like you said - no assistant gesture. i use the dark theme and don't like the white bacground behind the nav buttons. i think they made it white so people wouldn't confuse it for a large "chin". forget that!! i know it's not and that's all that's important. i hope they nix the white background.
i haven't yet figured out why the camera is more confusing than the 5t. I'm still in mourning for the nexus 6p camera.

The Selfies are all mirrored.. Is this by Design, and why?! Can you change that? Thanks!

I use OnePlus 6 1 month is good processor fast and gaming yes smooth, but 1 make me sad the speaker why they not make like black shark have 3 speaker more loud and good,in this year November lunching new OnePlus 6t I hope they make more good then OnePlus 6,I enjoy watching your video and nice voice keep going review more phone 💯 like

It's a solid device, no doubt, but its design is generic and it's needlessly big. Speaker sound is average and microphone recording quality is too. If you can afford it, get the regular Galaxy S9 instead (not the S9 Plus). It's the most elegant solution with 0 compromises in design or hardware.

With 19:9 screen, when you watch like a simple video or a photo, Here they come the bezels! :) so, 18:9 and 19:9, for me, are pretty useless

You forgot to mention that you can hide the notch if you want in the settings.

Does it have Bluetooth 5.0

Damn, if the secondary lens wasn't so useless (which is ok, since my current Pixel 2 only has 1 lens to begin with) and wireless charging hadn't been excluded, I would have switched instantly. Oh, and the alert slider was way more practical on the left. :(

Nice. He actually understands that this isn't supposed to be compared to the most expensive phones. And it is a great an excellent phone for the price. No doubt.

At that current price given that there is no wireless charging or waterproofing for a glass construction this is not a great buy anymore. Given that the LG G7 will drop in price thanks to lackluster reviews like yours I would rather buy it than this and you can buy it through a carrier which is a more important feature for me.
I also used to like your reviews but given that you have to say your name and now include your spouses breasts in every video is rather annoying. And please just state the obvious you guys are being compensated by One Plus. I for one am unsubscribing.
