HOWDY CAMP & T-CAMP | Texas A&M Traditions

Transfer Camp — also known as T-Camp — welcomes transfer students to Texas A&M before the fall semester every year, and Howdy Camp welcomes transfer and freshmen students to Texas A&M before the spring semester!

It is led by Texas A&M students who are dedicated and passionate about making the transition process successful for each new Aggie with the purpose of giving them an opportunity to have fun, build friendships, and learn more about life at Texas A&M. Each counselor, crew member, and staff member has personal experience with transferring to and being new on campus. This way, they can offer crucial advice about classes, fun things to do in College Station and any other questions that a new student might have about being an Aggie. T-Camp became “A Transfer’s First Tradition” in 1987 and welcomes more than 500 Aggies each year.
