I'm intrigued by Sinn.

I really love these oil filled dials. Looks like a smart watch display. The viewing angles are unparalleled.

the oil really helps you see the seconds hand not align

Love that Sinn bounce. Also the inner circle on the caseback is a diaphragm that lets the oil expand with heat.

I like the look! The slight regression of the seconds hand after each tick would annoy me to no end though.

I always thought this was a pretty cool watch. Given the features, it's incredibly well priced as well.

You should also see the dial under water. That would be where the refraction would normally cause problems.

Now that's a dive watch!

This watch is almost perfect: If Sinn could ADD a solar recharge like casio / seiko/ citizen do and REMOVE the crown like the Pita Oceana or Ressence Type 5 , that would be perfection!

What i like about Sinn is they maintain their design pretty unchanged bullet proofing their watch to fashion trend and hype.

Thanks for an informative review. Had chance to see this at their Frankfort store and now I want one. Was told the real special force issued ones are unbranded and aren't personal keepers (to be returned to gov when the issuee retires or leaves the force). This S (Black on black) to me is best look but seems to be more SDR (black bezel only) out in the used market.

Hey Tim, thanks for the lengthy explanation of the anonymous people wearing those amazing watches, i had an EZM-1 years ago and sold it for than what i paid but worth MUCH more now. The 2B is a bigger and better watch but not a classic. I have a T-1 and going to pick up a GS9 SDR, yes that lume is amazing, the only watch i see that has a higher WR rating is an Omega thats about 13 grand, Sinn makes fantastic tool watches!!
