Please quit posting videos, scammers suck.
Ответить11K likes... It's misinformed content like this which gives Retro gaming a bad name.
ОтветитьThis is TERRIBLE advice! These cheap AV2HDMI converters do not handle 240p Resolutions properly & thus introduce a TON of input lag!
You're far better off getting a Scaler designed for Retro gaming, like the OSSC or RetroTINK.
Misinformation like this is so sad to see, specially coming from a big company like DKOldies.
I have two new TVs. When I try to play my Atari 7800 console with a AV adapter, one shows a black screen and the other shows a black screen too but you can still see something. The sound works too. Obviously I’m not going to play games like that. I think I’m going to buy a AV to HDMI converter. Hopefully that resolves the problem. No one ever talks about the new TVs that have AV but they don’t work correctly. They only work with some devices and some connections.
ОтветитьHe didn’t tell ppl that those things look like crap ? I’d feel ripped off those things don’t work well at all u need hd retro vision cables an upscaler smh nobody told me this I bout the dum adapter then spent 250$ on what I actually needed
ОтветитьPSA just remember to inspect your items you receive from this company apparently it's hit or miss
Ответитьthis company is a scam
ОтветитьYeah, but how do you hook up new games to a old TV?
ОтветитьA have a retro Nintendo a love mairo bros
ОтветитьHi
ОтветитьYou can get RCA male cable and plug it into micro AV port. Way cheaper.
ОтветитьNew tvæy
ОтветитьI don't know if this is a hispanic thing but I remember playing that Mario game on a plug & play game from the swap meet that came with 999 other games (1,000 games in total).
ОтветитьScrew that thing I use an old tv
ОтветитьThe Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9)
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: (Acts 17:30)
I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. (Luke 13:5)
Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts 20:21)
it's doesn't work at all on my lg g3
ОтветитьA box like that would provide a horrible experience, besides the fact retro games look terrible when displayed just in naked converted form, they will also be very laggy and most likely have poor audio, you will need at least a SLG unit (scanline-generator), a good one will cost no more than £$25-30, and are available with HDMI, RGB, component etc, this alone will make a large difference in terms of the sprite/pixel baesd graphics looking as they should, next you will need a line-multiplyer, depending on your TV, if it's 1080p or 1440p or 4K, and the original resolution you are scaling, you may need a 2X scaler, or a 5X scaler, 4K scalers are also available, or just a decent interger scaler that will pixel repeat up to your native TV resolution, like the OSSC Pro, GamerPro4K, Mclassic, 1080p with scanlines will be good enough for most people though, for this you can just buy an OSSC 1.8 box which will integer scale 240p to 1080 beautifly and have plenty of overlay options including scanlines, good news is, you can get one for as little as £75 second hand, the GBS-C is also a great option if you just want an integer scaler and are not worried about overlays & scanlines, some prefer raw sprites at higher resolutions, and that's fine, the GBS-C is only £$25 or so, and you can combine it with an SLG for a total of only $£40-50 max, and retro games will look amazing on any TV with a GBS-C & SLG, keep in mind that option will require some setup and tinkering, whereas an OSSC 1.8 is plug & play out of the box, and simple to use with its remote control.
ОтветитьI have this got it recently on Amazon for 10$ for nes recording as my retrotink 2x broke and is under repair still and it's pretty good but the quality isnt quite up to retrotink of course and there is notable ghosting on dark parts of the games. For example, you can see a sort of trail residue when waling on dark screens from your character and that's not an nes or game problem its the adapter.
ОтветитьAnd it's only 199.99!
ОтветитьAlright that’s 500
ОтветитьSometimes new tv’s have av cable ports
Ответитьonly this guy would use one of those tera-bad 3$ scalers ... i bet he sells them for 50$ too. youve been warned DO NOT BUY ONE of these even at 3$ they are hot garbage and often stop working after only a couple months
ОтветитьGood morning. What kind of av cable do i need.I have the eight output
Ответитьive tried one of those and the signal was so stretched out and blurry id get a hradache after 10 minuetes. gey some thing better or get a crtv.
ОтветитьI have one of these and they are really useful, but i recommend changing the reolution to 4:3 for the old school look.
ОтветитьTerrible...
ОтветитьI think I wanna buy one because I want to play my psp on tv😅😅😅😅 new psp
ОтветитьSome of the new tvs already has you covered so you just plug the yellow cord into the green port that's why it has a Y under it
Ответитьlook at this clown thinking he knows what he’s talking about again
Ответитьdo you have free fire
ОтветитьI just bought a Roku recently in store and it still has AV ports. I guess I lucked out.
ОтветитьThese things have variable lag and scaling issues.. So they introduce lag as does a flat panel tv.. get a crt 📺 or if you must on a flat panel; get a retrotink for plug and play, OSSC if your tech savvy.
ОтветитьIt's cheap but it sucks. A retro gaming store advertising this garbage? I know not to trust them.
ОтветитьCrt tv 📺 is the only solution. I just try all hdm adapters you can name of and no results. Games looked horrible
ОтветитьDíky!
ОтветитьI already have a HDMI converter but it doesn't look the same exact of what Joey has it's called the M8 4K game stick it has like 10,000 games installed in it and all of its are retro games my dad but one for me because I was spending too much time on my phone and the TV was just sitting out there with nobody using it and when we get the GameStick I played retro games for the rest of my life
ОтветитьGood thing my tv have Both av and hdmi
ОтветитьSure you could play your retro games on a modern tv with this but if you wonna play a game like Castlevania or Contra or hell even Mario don't be suprised if you die die die over and over cuz this thing will give you crazy imput lag and you really don't have to even be an expert at dececting delay in games to notice it these things are awful
ОтветитьI bought one of these off Amazon to try and play my Nintendo Wii again...
Safe to say it did NOT work at all. Glitchy image, constant flickering, and the picture was discoloured and constantly scrolling.
So I bought a Wii2HDMI Adapter, and it works great!
These look terrible and the input lag will ruin many games. You'd be better off with the TV's integrated scaler in many cases. I'd research and get a good low latency scaler that fits my needs.
ОтветитьIt also makes the image look like complete shit.
Y'all aren't even trying to hide that you don't know shit about this stuff anymore lmao
oh hey i have that one!
ОтветитьYeah if you want bad 240p to 480i conversion at a delay
ОтветитьThe NES uses RF cables
ОтветитьYes i knew :)
Ответитьhe made this video a couple of times he does it for the views
ОтветитьJust no to any tv without av
ОтветитьOh man I have that exact adapter!! I bought it for my Nintendo 64 originally but then I realized the snes would work so I’ve been using it for that lately, and now I find out it works for nes as well! AAAAAAAHHHH
Ответитьmy flatscreen just has av ports in it i got lucky like that
ОтветитьGood God no, those AV2HDMI are so terrible. They introduce noise, lag, and ruin the gameplay experience. Just say no!
Ответить
