That’s how all of us kids got punished in my day. We even got punished at school with a board. It was the way back then. I got punched in the mouth by my father when I was 16 for saying No to my Mom. I didn’t grow up and do anything like that to my family. I’m sick of the excuses for these sickos

I lived in Fresno, Ca. and worked with 3 of the Mothers, Sofia, Ruby, and Gypsy, at the Radisson Hotel when this happened. They were so quiet and kept mostly to themselves. Just proves you never know what people are going through. I really hope that they have found some peace. 🤍

Why do you speak of nieces all the time? The children were his or the children of Rose. Rose's children could be considered stepchildren and only Elizabeth's children would ne nieces to Elizabeth's sisters. Some of them could have (become) cousins later on, but none were nieces to Marcus. Complicated, fot sure.

WTF is going on with Rose? I blame her for everything

What was Rose thinking? He was closer to her eldest daughter’s age than Rose’s age when Rose started the relationship.

All the adults that knew and did nothing. The victims who became adults did nothing to protect the younger girls once they aged out.

Did anyone write about this case? What did the police and CPS know about this family? That day the women went there because he was going to take the kids out of state, what did the dispatch tapes say? He was a big guy, how and why did he get back inside the house? Did police stand there and listen to the at least 9 shots? Thankfully most police have body cameras now. There are so many questions.

What became of the surviving family members? Did they become productive citizens?

This is the most troubling story I’ve ever come across. Having spent my entire life in California, just an hour away from Fresno, I’m shocked that I hadn’t heard of this horrifying tale before—I must have been completely oblivious! The individual responsible is not just a terrible person; he embodies true evil. Every adult who was aware of this family's situation and allowed such awful things to happen to those children should be held accountable. I can't fathom why the two girls didn’t call the police before going to his house to retrieve the kids.
