This looks a lot like Vienna
ОтветитьGotta try that food dude 😮
ОтветитьBeautiful video, I am planning next month to visit Riga and Tallinn, what you suggest where to spend more time ? 1 day in Riga and 2 days in Tallinn or 2 days in Riga and 1 day in Tallinn ?
ОтветитьWow 😮 the city center gives Paris, Vienna, Prague a run for their money. I always thought of Latvia as a poor Sovjet country. 🫣 I have to explore more into eastern Europe I see
ОтветитьBalsam is not a liqueur, do you really not know what balsam is? Balms are a separate group of drinks. Just like whiskey, just like cognac, liqueurs, wines and gin. In this case Riga Black Balm.
ОтветитьAs a Brit who moved to Riga, I tell friends and family it is a cracking place to live. Well... except for winter time when the days are short and the ice and slush can be annoying. The summers tho' are fantastic with the long days and reasonable heat - unlike the searing oven you get in southern Europe.
ОтветитьYou should check out Kuldīga
ОтветитьGood job! Did you enjoy Kronvalda park?
ОтветитьDear Micheal,
I wanted to thank you for your work.
It’s my first time coming across a travel vlogger that has approached travelling like this in particular the descriptions of the 5 senses and the peaceful ambience. You are awesome!!
This video was very useful as I’m moving to Riga next week to study - take care :)
Nice video Thank you
ОтветитьLove your take on travel, keep it up!! 😊
Ответитьruuusia is shit... Latvia is good - hey braliukai
ОтветитьSadly, our city now is just a shallow shadow of what it is used to be. The city is dying and the people are leaving. 🥲
Ответитьthe bolt scooters strewn around on the streets in the walking shots really ties the whole story of Riga together lol
ОтветитьDo you think it is safe to travel solo in Riga?
ОтветитьHi. Thank you for this video, it’s amazing one 😊
ОтветитьCame for Riga, stayed for your incredible descriptions! ❤ Amazing travel vlog! Helps me immerse myself better in my own city and see it and feel it with newfound appreciation! Thank you a lot! Gained a sub. 😊❤
ОтветитьI was going to skip this video - but like other - I have to give people the benefit of the doubt. I have watched quite and few and found them to be repetive with the same sites and same stories - In saying that, this is the first video that thought outside the box and viewed the city differently. The center was well presented! Unfortunate that the 4.8 k view did not bother to give you "thumbs up" No other video compares!
ОтветитьI’ve watched a lot of travel videos to the point of monotony. Your travel video stood above all others simply because it engaged the senses. I literally felt as if I was there. Excellent video. I’ve now subscribed to your channel and am eagerly waiting to see more videos. Magnum Opus!

ОтветитьLatvians eat grey peas only once per year in Christmas .. lol..

ОтветитьI wemt to riga all i cam say is too many russians. Sadly it seems like an infected country. Learned latvian just to be yelled at russians bc apparently i need to know russian in LATVIA what bs not my fault they dont know where theyre located in
ОтветитьI come to Riga to study from a small town and haven’t even went to the old part of the city 😂❤
ОтветитьLoved this video - I'm off to Riga in a week and this gave some great tips! Thanks!
ОтветитьSuper!
ОтветитьThank you for bringing Latvias name out in the world! Yet bare in mind anyone will need to experience all 4 seasons to truly know Riga!
ОтветитьGreat thing about Daugava and many other bodies of water in Riga- they are totally nice to swim in, unless there is a lot of "blooming", but all the waters are being tested quite regularily :) Maybe it would be too cold for the average traveler, but in a hot summer day it is great to do some laps at Lucavsala beach 😊
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful video. Very happy to have stumbled across this channel.
ОтветитьThe best review of my city, I have ever seen! You truly seem to know what you are talking about! 👌👌👌also worth mentioning, the Riga Central Market main structures are five pavilions constructed by reusing old German Zeppelin hangars, hence the looks of these hangars. :)
all the best in your future travels!
