Have to say I have very love/hate opinion of these rifles. Really with a lot of the Weatherby line up. Let me explain....these new rifles really break Weatherby tradition. No Monte Carlo stock??? At least offer one as an option, even if it does add a ounce or 2. Why do you insist on not having the white diamond? Do you not realize that is what sets you apart on the rack at the local gun store? Ever since I was old enough to understand to look for the diamond, I have. Now it does me no good. It is a shame!! As for the idea behind these rifles, absolutely love it! The new cartridge I think is awesome but I miss seeing the double radius shoulder on it but I think I understand why it is not on it as well.

Great job guys but please understand that you have a product with a huge tradition behind it and it is the little things that make a big big difference and is what sets you apart.

I think I have watched this video 20 times over the last week. I'm thinking I will be taking 5 of my guns to a local gun shop and trade them to get a ti on order. Now I must deside on either a 280 AI or 6.5 RPM. More research.....

Love what Weatherby makes and really love the 6.5 rpm but the boutique mess and unavailability of reasonably priced ammo defies the rifle loony logic in my cookie jar. The rifles are actually reasonably priced but the ammo pricing needs attention. Please increase that element and watch Weatherby grow even more! Until then, I'll keep shooting my 300 Weatherby until my shoulder goes.

Theese look very nice. Why not use hex or torx head bottom bolts ? Slotted screw heads are impossible to keep from stripping.

I am not seeing how these rifles are good for the 300 wby cartridges. They are too light to be effective at shooting large cartridges at Big game. they will be less accurate and require much more practice time (cost) to learn to use them effectively. is there an in-between recommendation? I am definitely sold on investing in Weatherby, just trying to find the right Mark V model for 300 wby.

Need a high comb like weatherby is known for. A low comb sucks for looking through scopes. Bad choice on tge low comb stock

I've been professional hunting guide since 1979 as my only income with work in Alaska to the Pacific NW.
Weatherby lost me forever starting with 3 Weatherby Mark 5 rifles with 2 of them the accuracy with the same as shooting a shotgun using 00 Buck shot.
The last Weatherby mark 5 the chamber was reamed off center to the bore then that Bitch Thereasa in customer services told me the rifle was within Weatherby spec and I just didn't know how to shoot a Weatherby rifle them hung the phone up on me so not to take any kind of responsibility for a defective Mark 5 rifle.
The first 2 Weatherby mark 5 rifles also got sent back to Weatherby with the same bull shit treatment I got from the BITCH Therasa in customer services with I was told also the rifles are within Weatherby spec and if that is a Weatherby standard what garbage these rifles are.
The first 2 defective Weatherby Mark 5 rifles got sold with me talking a massive loss for what I paid for them.
I still own the last of the Mark 5 for keeping it for the action and stock for a custom barrel job I am planning in in 8mm RUM .
I am currently using a Mauser 98 I've built in 300 Wby mag using a Pac Nor super match barrel .

Chasing current fads would make Roy Weatherby roll in his grave. He was all about breaking molds.

I’m not seeing the price tag. Bang for buck would be a tika t3x lite. I still think they are a better rifle for value.
