After 6 years in the making... New TEHALEH trail system is opening!

🎉The Trek at Tehaleh Grand Opening🎉 with Pierce County Parks and Tehaleh is June 22! YES, new MTB trails in the South Sound region!

Our work began in 2018 to design and build this mountain bike park on ~230 acres of land on the wooded slopes overlooking the Orting Valley, the Carbon River and the Puyallup River in the underserved South Sound region.

After 6 years in the making and 1,000 hours of trail building, the new Trek at Tehaleh MTB trails are complete with 6+ miles of trails including a ~2.5 mile cross-country loop for beginners with stacked loops along the ridgeline offering a variety of 1500’ to 2000’ gravity flow descent options. Freeride trails will cater to different skill levels with ~1.5 miles of intermediate trails and another ~2 miles of expert trails that take advantage of steeper terrain.
