Ari, the dealership salespeople are arrogant as well. What happened in this market since I leased my 2021? Oh, and first..

What kinda stupid do they suffer from, or worse think their FORMER core buyers suffer from, that they think that $4k off after the 40%+ increase in cost this last 2-4 years would be anywhere near enough?… forget the “competitive brand” junk

I have a 2018. I agree that it was built for a rental fleet. Just no character. If they still made the WK2 I would buy one. Looks like I’m keeping my 2018 until the wheels fall off. Refuse to buy anything with a turbo so I’m just about out of the entire car market.

That's what happens when a CEO that is addicted by profit margins from Covid. Price point price point. He doesn't understand the United states auto market.

The Summit & Summit Reserve trims look the nicest out of all the Grand Cherokee trims, with the Overland & Limited trims being right behind those. But they've overpriced those trims which are the ones that need the most discounts. They have too many "entry level" trims which overlap with each other in feature content. They need to simplify the entry level trim lineup & lower the prices of the Limited, Overland, Summit, & Summit Reserve trims

I got a used Summit Reserve L with a Hemi that cost a lot less than a new base Laredo regular length with the V6. They are so expensive. I do applaud Stellantis for their massive investment in building a new Jeep Grand Cherokee plant in Detroit. Part of the reason why I bought one knowing where it was built and the focus on improved quality, which was the reason for building the new plant. I just hope they don’t use their pricing problems as an excuse to move full production to Mexico.

Great information. One thing that adds even more to the confusion is those of us who qualify for true EP ( Employee Pricing). Normally we get that plus still qualify for the rebates/incentives, but Stellantis i often think is another word for terrible business practice and confusion in the USA.
EP Pricing is difficult for many people to figure out, but the former Chrysler Corporation had always had the best EP of the Big Three.
