Free Vineyard Camping & Exploring

On this video we take you to a free camp less than 10 kms out of Donnybrook in Western Australia.
Surrounded by tranquility and nature you will not want to miss this spot on your way past heading further South.

This was our second time staying here at Thomson Book Winery, we loved it so much the first time we visited around 5 years ago we couldn't help but return.

We parked up on the wonderful grassy level sites and enjoyed some wine tasting here with the lovely owners Pam & Terry walking away with some bottles of their red and white wines plus some of their white port too.
They open up their lovely property to the public and we honestly can't say enough good things about this place it's such a gem.

Sheep, Alpacas, ducks and plenty of space to take a walk up through the gate from the camp to take a look at their vineyard.

From the minute you enter the driveway you are greeted with the most adorable smelling old fashioned red roses, not to mention the large amount of space to pull up just about anywhere you want.
Parking up the Ram and our Wonderland caravan was an absolute breeze.
We stayed here for two nights and explored the local area, so glad we did but could of easily stayed for longer.

Yummy fresh local roadside produce had us hooked buying some beautiful plump passionfruit for only $4 a bag.
We checked out the local area which included visiting Frogs Hollow, Gnomesville, Wellington Dam, Honeymoon Pool and the town of Donnybrook where we brought some fantastic meat and sausages from the IGA, Yummmmm!!
