This is my Leg Day Workout from my current training split. I use a new microcycle for this training block - check out the video to understand why.
Squats are almost always a feature in my leg day’s and I’m enjoying a bit of boxing squatting this summer, which I’ll probably keep through to my strength block.
By the way, I am not a fan of touch and go box squats - I often see these become uncontrolled and that can mean the back gets smashed/ compressed via the load of the barbell and the impact of the box. Sit down slowly and with full control - then squat up as fast as you’re able to (which will be dictated by the load of course).
