Ok, it's not unknown to hardcore Mopar racers. But it was certainly unknown to me when I tripped over this weird looking small block in a pile of parts @rocketresto dragged home. Since then I've gotten an education on the evolution of Chrysler's LA series small block long after the original performance variants had left the production line.
