There's an important line said in this clip that effectuates the reality of it all: "Obviously our opinions on how speech affects the world are very different." This was right after Jim Norton killed in his response about comedy and joking about controversial topics. But there's just one problem with it. There is no way to quantify nor qualify that criticism to substantiate whether she is right or wrong and therein lies the very crux of modern society on this topic. We rather error on the side of caution for the sake that freedom of speech (in the vein of comedic relief) could potentially have a negative effect on society.
