How often do these sell out? I need to get my hands on one. Love the way it sounds on bass. The hm-2 was the first pedal I ever bought. I got a made in Taiwan version for $20 at a pawn shop. I still have it today and it's basically broken at this point but I won't get rid of it

Doom is not what I play, but I know it when I hear it. This is absolutely punishing.

I just received mine and while the pedal sounds just amazing, it's barely playable... it is way way too loud, I have to dial down my amp volume to almost zero and still the pedal is too loud. This means that I can't use it on/off, as in bypass mode there is no volume.... could you please help me? might my unit be defective?

Does anyone own this and find it to be useable? It’s a very very loud pedal, and just having a gain control rather than a volume control seems very restrictive. I would venture to guess most chainsaw fans would be fine with a maxed gain already preset, perhaps with an internal control for fine tuning. Any users out there have thoughts?

Quick question - how do you noise gate this? I use one and have a lot of problem with the guitar squealing uncontrollably when it isn't played, even with a noise gate in the chain.
