5 reasons why I wouldn't even try Honkai: Star Rail | DISLYTE

To be fair, genshin impact still doesnt have PVP if im not mistaken.

As for honkai impact (different from honkai star rail), pvp was introduced like a year after.

And guess what, they're still top grossing games because of its lore , gameplay and graphic quality.

We cant really compare dislyte which has been out for 2 years to a game that hasnt even been released yet.

I’ve played hoyoverse other games and the one thing that made me stop playing them was lack of endgame and easy play experience. I’m a freaking gamer bro. If I don’t jump out my seat and yell in frustration because Hyde is whooping my ass while I’m doing calculus with my builds to beat one unit the game ain’t for me. Difficulty = interest. It’s not for everyone but it is for me and I refuses to play another HI3 or Genshin participation reward game. I said what I said

I'll be playing both. Dislyte quickly became my favourite gacha and has great designs and content, but Honkai Star Rail has a rogue-like mode which I'm incredibly weak too... Also if it's anything like Genshin it'll be log in for 10-15mins once a day for dailys and that's it, maybe a little longer for events, which is nice for much more casual, side game. If I can play the rogue-like mode as much as I want, even without rewards it may just become something I play a lot...

You're missing out on a good game. The story is amazing with great comedy. And has way more end game than Genshin. Dislyte will be dead way before Star Rail lol.

I'll keep Dislyte just because Dislyte is the only game that does vertical right! literally everyone wants me to hold me phone sideways and like nah!!!

The final nail in the coffin for my interest in hoyoverse and their games was dehya so i'm definitely not interested in honkai. Plus dislyte is a lot more generous and receptive to feedback than genshin. F2p it would take you 2 days to get a single pull lol. No plans on going back to playing games by hoyoverse.

I'm not gonna quit dislyte cause the rewards are good, won't be playing Star rail cause I play genshin and Star rail don't really catch my eyes, but I am really looking forward to Wuthering Waves

For me personally I just can’t do multiple gacha at the same time. Sometimes these games can feel like a second (fun) job so juggling multiple is just too much. Also personally for me I’m just tired of the generic anime waifu BS that Hoyo pumps out. I like that there’s skin color and body diversity in Dislyte. It makes the characters feel so much more interesting. And this is coming from a coomer weeb. Play whatever your heart feels is right DF2P but I understand why you are sticking with Dislyte.

For me I will continue to play Dislyte the only problem I see with Dislyte is getting new players to the level of honor sever and Infinite Miracle sever Honor sever had 4 months play before Infinite sever it took us 8 months to catch up they need to advance the new severs faster to create a new player base to join the older severs then slow their advancement down to our level of grinding we just need new player base is all

The stamina and having to log-in for twice a day is what made me drop genshin. I might pick it up again but definitely not the same investment as I used to.

I will play both casually

The stamina system in star rail looks very similiar to genshin, and you are right, it usually takes about 2-3 months to get a good set for a single character.
Yet at the same time, the hard limits on the stamina are the only thing that keeps people playing for longer because it takes so long to get anything done.
I played genshin for a very long time but burned out on it hard because it became so boring and still has no endgame content. No clue whether star rail will be the same but yeah, it could be another game that is meant to be played VERY casually

I forgot-
One of my biggest issues with genshin (that star rail could easily repeat) is because of its linear story structure n different sectors of its world, you often literally cannot even build the character you just pulled.
Let's say you are a new or returning player - there is 0 resson to pull on most of the promoted banners because that character will sit for weeks in your inventory, completely unusable because all the materials you need to level this character are 3 nations over and also locked behind several mandatory story missions that you cannot bypass or skip 🙃

When new games come out, i usually play them for 1 week and then decide if i like it. I tried tower of god, and i didn't like that game.
I believe trying new games is always nice because it makes you explore your interests in ways you wouldn't be able to

Edit: Would not quit Dyslite for another game. That would be stupid, why would anyone play Dislyte if they would just quit just like that?

Dislyte is great but it’s a game you pick up and set down, I did quit Genshin but I will be trying star rail.

It's either I'm gonna play the game or not, idc. Dislyte is just my main gacha game for a year now and there's honestly no stopping me.

HSR is just a game that's connected to Hoyoverse's another game called Honkai Impact 3rd. The game has it's interesting lore that it's lore is connected to their another game and honestly, I would play it if I have a PC or a device that will handle the game.

Might try this game cause it has no pvp which is the best end game for gacha games. PVP on gacha games is always going to be whales vs whale which is not fun and there's nothing you can do about it

Man i wont try starrail dont like it. But i play dislyte as my main core game. My sidegames are nikke and afk arena. Still sad u didnt give nikke a try . They literally murdered the internet with they re half anniversary....

I will definitely try Honkai, simply because I'm quite a casual player in a "playing what I am in the mood for" kind of sense. I have a bunch of games I play, I get tired/bored of one - I play the other. I think it's been more than a month since I played genshin, now I am more invested in dislyte, and a few months ago it was the opposite. But now I'm starting to play CRK more often than dislyte (which became easier with the stamina cap and blitz system of Dislyte). I am not into pvp stuff and I am not invested much into what's meta and what's not, that's why I played genshin quite a lot before, since it's more than possible to clear any content with the characters that game gives you for free and you don't really have to have the best equipment either. I heard that Honkai: Star Rail is like a mixture of genshin and honkai so I am very interested in what it has to offer, but I don't think I will entirely drop Dislyte, more like I will have one more game to jump to when I am tired of the other ones

There is one thing that Hoyoverse will always do well, and that's the story. The game they make are usually casual, that means you'll never be pressured to log in. Compared to disylte my complaints back then are they left the main story in the dust.

So dislyte is my first Gacha game i invested in i want to find more like it so im not just creating alt accounts to feel beginners luck all over again. Are there any other games you suggest or might cover?

I just got back to Dislyte recently and after spending nearly 10 hours yesterday playing HSR I just.... couldn't get into it. I'm a Genshin player so I was quite surprised, but the story and the characters in HSR just did not appeal to me in any way and I found the game very confusing even after having watched a decent amount of videos about it :/

I'm glad Dislyte has been improving since I stopped playing last year, coming back to it has been so fun and I hope to continue to play for a long time

I am ar58 in genshin and its very boring and unrewarding dislyte is much more rewarding and satisfying why you final beat a floor star rail looks like turn based genshin ill pass

Dislyte has cemented itself as my favorite gacha currently, but ive also been crazy lucky with 16 legend pulls in 3 weeks

No lie I thought star rail was going to be bad or boring but I really hate the fact it took all my time away from Dislyte

I just learnt that there's no PVP (at least for the closed beta) so that further takes away from the end-game experience and competitiveness. But if they do include it eventually then good I guess...
