Oh Look a Strawberry refers to a viral video, TikTok sound and meme in which a woman repeats, "Oh look, a strawberry!" as her voice becomes increasingly garbled, correlating with the increasingly dilapidated strawberries that the video progresses through. She's also speaking over a recorder performance that sounds like a medieval flute. The original clip was posted by TikToker @amaliatown in June 2024, spreading over the following months. TikTokers used the video's audio to showcase dilapidated progressions of different objects and animals, like pet cats, for instance. On June 26th, 2024, TikToker @amaliatown posted a video in which she showed a progression of increasingly dilapidated strawberries while repeating, "Oh look, a strawberry!" Each time she said the phrase, her voice became more garbled. She was speaking over the sound of a recorder being played. Over two months, the video received over 30.9 million plays and 6 million likes.
