I'm eager to try this
Ответитьjust wanted to let you know that the gibson les paul looks sick as hell
ОтветитьI had this book AND the VHS. As a lead player, I still use the 2nd exercise occasionally to warm up before playing a show. It's a great exercise to kick-start the hands working together. The first one is great for getting the right hand to listen to your brain's internal rhythm. The first time I tried it, I almost threw the book away. But it got easier in a short amount of time.. If you find yourself getting too frustrated, just stop, shake your hands out, and say to yourself, "reset." Then start over. Great video!
Ответитьamazing exercises!
thank you
even after months i just can’t get my fingers to move fast enough their too shaky i hate it 😕
ОтветитьAwesome guitar teacher👍🎸🎸for beginner(s) on daily practicing.Thanks .R.J.
ОтветитьSo who is that on your left bicep smiling at me?
ОтветитьThanks for your videos, very well explain I'm learning a lot.
Saludos desde Argentina
My hand has a different specialty
ОтветитьWhere to buy a guitar? 😜
ОтветитьThe entire Petrucci book has amazing workouts. Eyes closed and I learned I am a really bad guitarist! I am actually pretty good when I solo with my eyes closed- go figure! I have been playing a scale like E dorian against a E drone track (Ben Eller) with my eyes closed = higher or lower from the 12 fret of every string - it seems to be getting better and better. What is kicking my ass right now, is hammering on each finger doing legato- it's from a Tom Quayle video- my 70 year old fingers are having none of it. Great video R.J.
ОтветитьStarted playing again for a month after 6 months off because of boredom and not progressing. Started sticking to a practice routine and noticed my left hand getting better. Which has always been behind my picking hand. Been practicing this for a couple weeks and man have I noticed being able to play smoother by doing this exercise and the chromatic ex. Plus throwing in the robotic exercise. It’s working just taking time. Thank buddy!
ОтветитьRight. You dont explain where we put our fingers you dont show it. bye
ОтветитьThese are GREAT exercises. I learned the fretboard by finding all the notes on all the strings, so I love the idea of doing this with triads. Going to incorporate this into my warmups!
ОтветитьThank you for sharing brother
ОтветитьThis is legit
ОтветитьJust started this and everyday I try it. Helps with finger placement as well . Great exercise.
ОтветитьThese have helped me improve!! Thanks man
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьAfter watching this video, I dont feel so bad about my crazy pinky finger anymore.
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьNice !
Ответитьis that from the mario game hahahaha
ОтветитьFantastic!
Ответитьthank u for the lessons! ^-^
Ответить勾配ニキ?
ОтветитьAre you in the Detroit area?
ОтветитьQuestion - I have chronic pain in my left hand from a nerve injury which often acts up when I'm playing. Is it normal to feel a burning in the back of my left hand when doing these? I can't tell if I'm working hard and building muscle, or if I'm aggravating my injury.
ОтветитьExcelente man gracias 😅
ОтветитьStarting this, as a beginner guitarist I want to improve but find myself falling into the same patterns and reverting to easy chords, so I thought a daily routine might help me challenge myself. Already can tell a difference after just a few minutes working at it!
ОтветитьOh do I ever need this exercise… I’m going to get on top of this one ASAP
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьI always thought when playing other alternate picks ex that nobody had created one that jumped strings and that was one of the areas where i struggled the most and this exercise covers all of the things i wanted to practice so thank you so much for this
ОтветитьMan, I'm only using fingernail instead of pick, so this upstroke notes are a b*tch)) Thanks for exercises!
ОтветитьLove your playing! I first saw you demoing for Quilter amplifiers.
Thanks for sharing these exercises, I'm always looking for good skill building techniques
awesome, thanks so much! Salamat!
ОтветитьBest practices video ever
ОтветитьOh man! i cannot find my guitar pick
Ответитьvery nice
ОтветитьIs it normal to end up with acid reflux every time I try this?
ОтветитьThank you so much, This excerise will resolve my right hand problem. I believe.
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьThis is great, thank you! exactly what I was needing.
Ответитьgreat! thx
ОтветитьThanx !
ОтветитьThank you sir
God bless you.
