Why isn't there a "B" cell battery?
ОтветитьWhy do they swab a prisoners arm with disinfectant before giving him a lethal injection?
ОтветитьHow about channel 2 or 3?
ОтветитьThey really should've allowed for all 99 or so channels to be used, would've allowed Americans to use Japanese Famicoms and PC Engines more easily!
ОтветитьThe channel one video out of really be interesting.
ОтветитьI already knew why, but I couldn't skip a new Antenna Man upload!
ОтветитьIn other words , it was a waste of time to reserve 37!!!!
ОтветитьSame as the rest part of the world - such as the use of Channel 25 (606-614 MHz) is prohibited in some cities in China with radio astronomy facilities
ОтветитьSame in the UK until 1997 when Channel 5 started broadcasting from a limited number of transmitters at lower power than the other 4 main channels, some at around 15% total RF power output compared with the original 4 stations here. We did use 37 for VCRs, video games, etc when hooked up directly to the antenna input of the TV, which Channel 5 had to retune all equipment of before they could start broadcasting
ОтветитьWNWT-LD currently uses channel 37 as a virtual channel.
ОтветитьA face and head shaped like that should stay BEHIND the camera. May frighten younger viewers ... those under the age of 93.
ОтветитьSubscribed, love the content.
Ответить37 works on cable
Ответить37 is my favorite number
ОтветитьSometimes RTN (Raleigh Television Network) is channel 1 but yes 2-69 always wondered
ОтветитьYes I remember when cable stopped at 36. Channel 37 on our cable system started getting use when The Nashville Network first debuted. We later started getting more & more channels. Now theres hundreds of channels of nothing to watch!
ОтветитьI remember back in the olden days, analog cell audio used to show up on UHF channels 69 to 83.
ОтветитьChannel 37 was used in Germany for the ZDF ("Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen" aka "Secondary German Television")
ОтветитьThe story of Channel 1 would definitely be a great watch!
ОтветитьYeah, we want to know about channel 1.
ОтветитьThe situation in the UK was:
It was channels 35 to 38 that was missing, and video recorders used these channels to send signals to the TVs.
However when the new station Channel 5 was introduced there was an effort to retune both TVs and video recorders, as the new station used these channels.
Even those who used SCART leads needed to retune the videos, because of interference!
Hey man, great video, but I think you're severely hurting your watchtime and reach by including an sponsored ad on a 5 minute video. People are bound to skip over a third of your video when you do this. Just a thought!
ОтветитьI could've sworn Bravo was on 37 back when we had cable.
ОтветитьIn my youth, I've known channel 1 as the campground channel. We used to do a lot of camping and many campsites used channel 1 to advertize upcoming events and activities. Kinda like a rolling powerpoint or billboard.
ОтветитьChannel 1 was 50-56 MHz between 1941 and 1946. This is used by hams today. In 1946 channel 1 was moved to 44-50 MHz, and that lasted until 1948. 44-56 MHz is not well suited for high power, local television transmission for the same reason that hams enjoy using these frequencies. Quite often these frequencies act more like shortwave radio. Interference between television transmitters hundreds or even thousands of miles apart is likely to occur during these time periods, and thousands of television sets would act like they're malfunctioning at seemingly random intervals. Frequencies above 100 MHz are much less susceptible to this, by orders of magnitude.
ОтветитьCool video talk tech antenna antenna man Tyler
ОтветитьYes, I already noticed, same as Brazil.
EDIT: Oh! In the video.
37 is one of the most prime numbers I have ever seen.
ОтветитьI remember there was a "channel 1" back when I was in middle school and high school in the 90's. It was an educational program for kids in school during the first period class. Was it the actual channel or was it what the program was called? Don't remember.
ОтветитьI never heard of channel 37. In Metro NY back in the 1970s.. we had VHF channels 2,4,5,7,9,11,13..& UHF channels 21,41,47,55,67.
ОтветитьUHF TV 36 in Japan
ОтветитьChannel 1 is the amateur radio 6 meter band. Channel 2 was the old amateur radio 5 meter band. We traded 5 meters for old channel 1 which is 6 meters. 50-54 mhz
ОтветитьNow that you mention it, I don't think my parents cable package had a channel 37 when I was a kid. 38 was ABC Family which I watched a lot, and when I pressed "channel down" it went to an ESPN on channel 36, and when I punched 37 in there wasn't anything.
ОтветитьIn Italy we got 37 Allocated to RAI, anyway I remember the VCR preset to 36 but actually I never used having my old tv the “scart” input
ОтветитьThat's where all the IRL analog horror is hiding
ОтветитьI've always wanted to know about ch 1 but have not researched. Never knew about ch 37.
Ответить611 MHz in Australia is on channel 40 instead & is used for Digital TV re-transmissions
ОтветитьMy hometown Bridgeport Connecticut was originally licensed for channel 1 but never happened because we are so close to New York City
ОтветитьDo one on ch 1. I'm intrigued now
Ответитьchannel 37 in philippines mentions here. the only notable is UNTV 37 and GMA 37 digital signal in Davao
ОтветитьThanks.
ОтветитьSO 6 MHz is enough for the job?
ОтветитьYooooooo channel 37 exists in Romania
ОтветитьAlways wondered if 37 could have ever been offered as a PSIP virtual channel; not like it isn't available or would ever interfere with RF37. Some affiliates with high 60's channel numbers may be interested in a lower number...? Or is channel number completely irrelevant these days?
ОтветитьPlease do channel 1.
