I appreciate you making this video and showing me who is akira toriyama. I always been a fan of dragon ball z. I grew up watching dragon ball z when I was 12 years old and my brother when he was 7 years old. I watched dragon ball z here in U.S and my parents country Ecuador. My brother and I honor him and thank him for making our childhood memorable. Thank you and God bless you!
ОтветитьThank you for this documentary ❤️
Ответить❤
ОтветитьWhat a legendary icon.
ОтветитьGreat video Geekdom!
Rest in Peace Akira Toriyama!
Thankful for this video, needed a Toriyama video today
ОтветитьHere's hoping Ancient Aliens does a Dragon Ball tribute episode.
ОтветитьDisney was originally one of my inspirations for writing stories, then starting reading manga and comics, and that got me into doing manga. When i was a teen, i was also inspired by movies and tv shows as well. Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z was one of the first anime shows i watched.
ОтветитьWow. The failures of Dragon Ball Evolution revitalized the series.
ОтветитьBrother you couldn't have worded it any more beautifully, and this video is a beacon speaking on the most honorable level. Thank you for a masterpiece documentary.
ОтветитьThat proves that gt does not exist there is no moga
Ответитьim kinda surprised how much u know about this guy. i mean considering that most of what u say about dragon ball is pure bullshit...
ОтветитьJust love and respect for Akira Toriyama. Thank you Geekdom for making this video. Thank you Toriyama for inspiring all us. Rest peacefully.

ОтветитьR.I.P. Akira Toriyama The Creator of The Dragon Ball Series 🧡🧡🧡🧡😢😢😭😢😢💙💙💙💙🐲🐲🐲🐉🐉🐉🐉
ОтветитьSince I'm really a big huge Dragon Ball Z fan I'm really shocked Holy Dragon Balls! This cannot be true
ОтветитьI wanted to be a manga Artist like Akira Toriyama
ОтветитьToriyama movie
ОтветитьI've always struggled with depression and anxiety and general chronic pain and sickness but Dragon Ball has always been my remedy for that and when I was bullied in secondary school none stop I'd just come home and stick my vhs copy of part of the Frieza arc until 2008 I binge watched every single episode after the other and in 2015 read the manga Have done a more than 5 or6 times Akira Toriyama has made my life better and richer RIP
ОтветитьYour argument about canon isn't technically true: there are multiple instances where Toriyama's work and/or ideas were changed because of his editors or other people close to him. The prime example that almost anyone would mention is the Cell arc, where the villain of the arc is switched up multiple times. Hell, the reason Cell has three transformations isn't because of Toriyama - that idea came from his former editor Torishima who contacted Toriyama and told him that Android 19 and 20 had awful designs. Likewise, it was Toriyama's second editor Kondö who told Toriyama to make Cell transform.
I'm not saying that Toriyama didn't put in the work, he most certainly did, but you make it sound like it was all Toriyama when it clearly wasn't.
Damn even penginz
ОтветитьI'm shocked this video doesn't already have at least a million views.
ОтветитьOoof, a console remake of Chrono Trigger would be fucking 🔥. Whoever the team was for FF7 please do this someday lol.
ОтветитьAmazing video. Thank you so much for sharing. I'm currently re watching Dragonball Z as I grew up watching it and was obsessed with it as a teen. I'm in my mid 30s and I've become obsessed with it again. RIP Akira Toriyama.
ОтветитьI believe this is the video i want to comment under, i had watched this a while ago. I believe this is the video where you said you haven't gotten into Naruto yet, but you have the Manga. I would highly suggest it. I never watched Naruto, or read it. I've been doing so for the past couple of months, and you can see Toriyama's influence with Goku on his Character so much. The determination.
ОтветитьI just realized the little girl was on dragon ball and was in BT3
ОтветитьThank you very much, Akira Toriyama, for everything. You touch the world in a way a few people have in their lifetime.
ОтветитьNeat to hear the bit about Tezuka considering Toriyama his heir, I hadn't actually considered that their careers would have overlapped at all.
ОтветитьGreat work !
ОтветитьToriyama and the guys from Linkin Park were MY ENTIRE CHILDHOOD! Idk where id be if I wasnt either drawing anime or making beats as a kid. Thank you for being one of my biggest insparations R.I.P Akira Toriyama and Chester Bennington and Thank You for giving me some of my best childhood memories you both will always have a special place in my heart. Cant wait to see you guys again 😉

ОтветитьBack in 1999-2000 Romania, I was spending summer vacantion at my grandparens in the countryside, i was 8 years old. We used to have just two chanels at the tv, tvr1 and tvr 2. Can't remember well, but around 12 or 14 a clook around noon, they will broadcast one episode of dragon ball, it was the greatest thing to my as a child back then (we were not as spoiled like nowdays, so it was very special to see something good at tv). Thank you mister Akira Toryama for making my childhood soo beautiful, hope your soul have all the blessing it deserves.
Ответитьakira toriyama ignited a fire inside our hearts billions of hearts , i miss akira toriyama in my world
Ответитьnice documentary he may be gone but his spirt lives on and so will dragonball
ОтветитьHis legacy will forever live on. With Daima & sparking zero coming out, it’s a pleasure to experience his amazing creations & that’s a testament on his greatness. RIP, the greatest of all time. 🐉
ОтветитьI will forever be grateful to him for creating dragon Ball that introduced me to anime and still to this day is one of my favorites
ОтветитьI grew up with Dragonball too. My favorite arcs are where Goku was a kid. But I became immersed again during the Kai continuum. What really kept me thoughtful of Toriyama Senpai was the fact that Oda and Kishimoto-senpai studied under him.
ОтветитьI would argue more people read manga in japan then people read comic books in the US
ОтветитьOkay if you play this video at 1.5 speed his voice actually sounds normal like lol
ОтветитьRest in peace, legendary dragon Sage may your work live on forever in our hearts, and in our libraries
ОтветитьI'm dyslexic and the Dragon Ball manga was the first time that reading wasn't a struggle for me, even compared to American comics. The writing flowed so perfectly with the art that it was a pure joy to read from start to finish every time I got my hands on a volume.
ОтветитьRest In Peace To The Stan Lee Of Manga And Anime. 😢💔🙏🪦💀😇🕊️🐉
Ответитьthank you sir for one of the greatest videos on the internet and for all you do on the channel about dbz brother
