Runnin a 5k at my mile pace…
Bruh
So how does the world record holder not run anything close to his record? Slower race in the history of 5k racing.
ОтветитьGreat to see a european not only medal, but take over these long distance races. This kid is one heck of an astonishment.
ОтветитьNo obvious contact? Are you kidding? The Kenyan moved to the rail and squeezed the US guy into it because they were overlapping. You can see their legs hit, left outside against right outside.
ОтветитьHe destroyed the Africans again!
Ответитьjust wow gg
ОтветитьCongratulations the white guy won 🥇
ОтветитьGrant Fisher just got robbed.
ОтветитьFisher was cut off. Krop should have been DQed.
ОтветитьI wish the video showed more of the race rather than 2 laps instead of the majority of the race great job NBC.
ОтветитьCatastrophically bad editing
ОтветитьFisher clipped the Kenyan ahead of him - his shin and the Kenyan's foot.
ОтветитьNever thought I’d ever see someone blow away the Africans the way he did. These guys grow up running at altitude. They train three times a day at training camps. They are so lean and fast. Hard to believe!
Ответить"Run with Force" - Lasse Viren
ОтветитьI was more impressed with the Guatemalan..👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
ОтветитьSteroids
ОтветитьAhmed, Almost. Keep working my Somali/Canadian bro
ОтветитьThe announcer was so focused on the American runner that he ignored the more important race that was going on until the last 60 meters.
ОтветитьKrop tactically closed the space between Fisher and the pole killing fisher’s momentum. he also got clipped a little but it was all clean tactics.
ОтветитьFischer could have run better tactically and gotten off the rail for the finish but that move by krop should have been reviewed for DQ in my mind. Clear obstruction that led to a poor race finish compared to where he was positioned
Ответить3 miles in 13 minutes... crazy
ОтветитьJacob when he lost the 1500:
“Ok you can have that, but then I’m going to take this.”
They got the TdF highlights so right but this is ridiculous
ОтветитьPuro guate mano
ОтветитьProps to Grijalva for that finish, he passed like 4 or 5 people in the final 200m to get that 4th place
ОтветитьKrop cut off Fisher. No doubt about it. With the other guy on Fishers side, he had no wear to go.
ОтветитьUgh, where's the full race?
ОтветитьGreat race by Jakob, tough break for Grant; I can't tell after multiple re-watches whether or not he was clipped. If anything, it would have been the runner behind him moving to the outside who hit his trailing leg. I don't believe he stepped on the rail, his right leg appears to move laterally for a moment like it contacted the person behind him. In this situation, you have multiple people sharing lanes, it's pointless to assign blame. Only Grant can say, but judging by how much that impact (if there was one) affected him, he was running on fumes. Tough break, but he's still young. He proved he can run well in the heat, I was hoping he'd start pushing the pace in the middle like he did at the U.S. championships.
Ответитьcommentors were cluless
ОтветитьFisher got cut off. Krop cut in too fast. That was bad form.
ОтветитьJakob called his shot and delivered!
ОтветитьDoper
ОтветитьIt seems East African dominance on 5k will come to an end cos lots of young European and USA athletes are there and they are very promising years to come too
ОтветитьGrant’s worst enemy is the railing, absolutely crushed for him. He’ll be on that podium in the future without a doubt
ОтветитьWow, that was a fast 5,000m –– just over 8 minutes??? ;o)
ОтветитьKrop should have been disqualified. He very clearly cut Fisher off, impeding his progress and probably costing him a medal.
ОтветитьThis young man will break both the 5000 and 1500 world records. Middle distance guys mature in the mid to late 20s and Ingebrigtson is only 21.
ОтветитьDetermination
ОтветитьShow the whole race!
ОтветитьJakob's girlfriend looks awesome and she could wear that whole combo more often in the summer! She could also wear that whole combo tucked in with a belt more often in the summer!
ОтветитьSo nice to be told the winner before I view the race!
ОтветитьWOW!
ОтветитьKrop cut off Fisher. Krop had been on the outside of lane 1 then moved inside cutting off Fisher and throwing off his pace, essentially forcing him to the rail and nearly tripping.
ОтветитьJakob is a beast!!!
Fisher lost momentum but honestly it was his fault he was behind the Kenyan and obviously he can’t see who’s behind.
Grijalva excellent result moved to 4th cuz other people contending for medals the last 3 laps ran out of gas, he knew medal wasn’t an option ran the best he possibly could and almost medaled, but in a championship final you gotta give it all.
i've been following grant fisher since 2014. He basically did the same thing back then on the last curve when he was going for a sub 4 mile indoor in 2014 or 2015. History repeating itself, tough.
ОтветитьWhat is this? We missed the first 11 mins of the race. What a joke
ОтветитьThat was an easy win for Jacob. They make it so easy for him. First the race was very slow then all of the fast runners were tired after their 10km so did not have anything left for kick. He run 54 last lap and he almost had 2second on everyone.
Ответитьwhy are these times so far off world record? ?
Ответить
