That heightened awareness where everything slows down- I've most often experienced that back when I played tennis. Digging to get to a drop shot when I was "in the zone", it was like I could control time, so hyper focused I could see the individual "hairs" on the ball, which seemed to almost hover in mid-air giving me the time to reach it before it hit the ground. It always reminded me of the way some baseball players would describe when they were locked-in at the plate, how they could "count the stitches" on the ball.

In society, if someone did what this officer did they would spend many years in prison.

Whats crazy is in the full clip the lady that had hit the old asian man gets her citation without a signature and he was forcing the asian man to sign it. Officer had said many times if he wants to argue then they can do it in court, but then the old man just wanted to explain his full story. Officer should have just listened to the story and give citatiin then leave. Officer deserves to be punished and jailed.

Elderly abuse and excessive force should be kept in check. This cop demonstrated his level of racism instead of listening to both sides of the story and instead of limiting himself to take the report immediately assigned blame accused the old frail Vietnamese and assaulted him. He needs to be fired and charged with assault and lying on his report. He stated the old man attacked him, the store security camera shows otherwise.

The old man is Asian, looks like another case of Asian hate crime.

And also the old man is just pointing up his finger and that idi0t police tackles him for no reason.

Two opinions on this. First, cop over reacted. Second, who thinks it is a good idea to touch a cop in any way shape or form as you are arguing with them about a ticket? Take the ticket, go to court and move on with your life.
The Cop needs to be held accountable for his lack of composure. He applied way too much force, where he could have given a verbal warning and more than likely if he needed to effect an arrest, done so with minimal force.

The old man said he was willing to go to jail, so just take him to the police station and resolve the issue. In Asian culture, it’s common to tap someone’s hand or shoulder to get their attention; this is not considered assault. There’s no need to throw him to the ground like that.
