ОтветитьI really appreciate you guys for the English content. Good stuff and keep it up
ОтветитьAll these knackered bushes is there a better quality product that would have lasted better from new or are they just installing cheap components
ОтветитьTop job once again which is great to see now days, Keep up the good work also,
Ответитьthat oil leak is intended to lubricate the rear of the car and now you ruind it😂
ОтветитьThe owner of this car is brave letting a so-called mechanic of that standard loose on a car of this sophistication. It's possible the mechanic was Trabant factory trained, I think he was a bricklayer. You've save another Audi owner, well done.
ОтветитьHi love your videos good bunch of guys talented fitters looking to book my A6 3.0 s line in for service and gearbox service how busy are you thanks nick
ОтветитьWhen a butcher becomes a car manufacturer!
ОтветитьThe ball joints were not replaced are they a shim type and do not need replaced
Ответитьthe oil leak helps to reduce the corrosion on the frame...
Ответитьare these v8's all just unreliable...i would love a rs4 avant but some of these videos scare the shit out of me!
ОтветитьPetrol Audi with steering on the wrong side always bad news
ОтветитьGreat video as always. One suggestion, you might want to consider a bluetooth microphone to clip onto your shirt. Sometime when you turn your head or hold the camera up to something so we can see it better, it's hard to hear you.
ОтветитьI think if you work on Audis, you need another car lift, as engine out is so often needed.
Ответить35000 and underneath looks in really poor condition. Give the dog a pair of overalls . She looks keen to get started.😀
ОтветитьThanks, very interesting! Good lighting under the car now!!!
ОтветитьDo you copper slip the undertray bolts before they go back in?
ОтветитьAnother superb video..... 👌 👏 👍
ОтветитьChange battery in your smoke alarms!
ОтветитьAnother informative video. Thanks. is there a undercoating you would recommend to the UK owners to help with the "surface rust" ?
ОтветитьI would of thought that the DRC tool for a shop like yours would be a viable investment. It’s around 600£. My DRC will probably go sooner rather then later so I looked up at my options and came across the official tool and a DIY option using a hydraulic hand pump.
ОтветитьI have a twenty year old skoda 1.8T with no major problems ever. Are car makers getting lazy these days ??
Ответить2k for all that? Awesome. Always love watching your footage.
Ответитьsweet
ОтветитьTop stuff lads. Keep up the great work. 👍
ОтветитьThis video won't be complete until you show us the special process to place the bushings 😁
ОтветитьYou guys are the best - some of this work overlaps with the stuff I have to do with my dad (Lexus tech) on my S4, especially the bushings, random audi-specific diagnostic (ie. DRC, Check Valves in old videos, etc.). Love doing the work and see it in a vid and knowing we thought right. Total experts on this channel.
ОтветитьMake a video of you replacing the battery in your smoke detector. 😎
ОтветитьPeople learn the messy way when non genuine crush washer is used on oil change. Those chopped up covers and shield make me sad.
Ответить“Very special process, that I will not tell you.”? Not cool Man, don’t leave us out of the loop! Those control arm pinch bolts have ALWAYS been a pain! B5,B6,B7,and B8! Never worked on a B9.
ОтветитьI cannot believe you are not able to replace the rivnuts in the plastic (or metal if needed). These kits are readily available most places. Another informative video. When I watch these, I get to appreciate my X5 Beemers even more.
ОтветитьExcellent video as always
ОтветитьThe timelapse sections where you are using the press are so awesome. great music for it too. no anti-seize on pinch bolt?
ОтветитьWill all RS5 B8’s have cat problems or is it just some, is it age and or mileage related? When you replace the cats do you cut the can and replace internals only? If so can you give me a link to the part and is that a permanent fix? I noticed you used a borascope to see inside the cats when still on the engine. Where about gives you access to feed the borascope down to investigate the cat internals? Love watching your vids, your knowledge of these cars is amazing.
ОтветитьYou need an apprentice to pass on your excellent work ethic and vast knowledge .
Keep up the awesome work.....and channel.🥳🥳
Amazing work man! Really enjoy it. I daily a 2010 S5 V8. I tried to apply all tips knowledge and focus like you guys do when I work in mine. Also, you mentioned is not good to drain the oil with the engine cold, why is this? When is warm I guess you can drain it easily and more quantity? Thanks!
ОтветитьWhoever thought they can damage the customer's car for their "ease and convinience" by cutting the belly pan, deserves to pay for a brand new one and get fired! Fuck assholes like that.
Ответить37k miles and it needs all the bushings replaced? Yikes.
ОтветитьIt amazes me people will take cars like these to the kind of cowboys that will hack a car around like that. At the very least you give the customer the option costs "x" to do properly and save "y" with a short cut so customer knows up-front. Either way no excuse for not making sure the sump plug isn't leaking.
ОтветитьFor brake pipes etc. that are plastic coated and siezed into the tube nut you can usually use a hot air heat gun for enough heat - as soon as the plastic coating on the pipe starts to soften you can start to work the tub nut loose. If a torch is required e.g. top link bolts I often use plumbers heat mats and or scraps of ally sheet or car heat shield to keep the flame away from rubber etc. Wear a decent mask ! don't want to be breathing in brake fluid vapour or zinc fumes etc.
ОтветитьGreat channel lads . Love the attention to detail. That B7 RS4 build episode was class .
ОтветитьInteresting channel, new subscriber here.
I'm a longtime BMW enthusiast / mechanic, and I'm somewhat surprised that Audi uses ceramic cats where equivalent BMW (E39 M5 / E60 M5 etc...) use metallic cats, which are vastly superior.
But then I'm not surprised as I'm shocked with some of Audi engine designs, especially the with timing chain.
Yes, BMW has its own problems, but man, Audi screwed up royally with some stuff.
These B8 rear subframes are absolute rubbish.
Ответитьand how tf do you tighten them top arms are ride height?
ОтветитьIs it just UK cars or is the bushings used by Audi just not great quality. They don't seem to get much life before needing to be replaced?
ОтветитьAnother excellent video.
Ответитьso how do you feel about these cars in general? if i love it, is it worth picking up a well maintained one, or avoid?
ОтветитьDo you recommend a engine flush before oil change on the Audi rs5 2013 and which brand
ОтветитьDRC pipe leaking - now that sounds like a typical RS5 :( my 2015 has had both front pipes replaced recently 2 years apart by Audi main dealer because no one has a DRC pump machine. I now know where to take my RS5 when something else goes wrong.
Ответить
