I remember in Jr High school, I put a large picture of Peter Frampton on the inside of my school locker! I was enamored with his hair. My coach noticed my picture and would tease me by calling him Peter Cottontail. lol

ОтветитьYes. I've owned Frampton Comes Alive numerous times and it is phenomenal. However, I finally got to see him live about 20 years ago i think it was, and he and his band blew that album out of thw water! Wow! 💚
ОтветитьAlways appreciate Dan... America misses his level of professionalism and journalism
ОтветитьI remember his big hair and handsome face. He still looks really good.
ОтветитьCongrats Peter 👏
ОтветитьMan he's articulate !
ОтветитьHe’s still so beautiful!
ОтветитьYou were my hero Peter- and you still are...
Ответить8 track Album now CD ! No compressed internet Down Loads !!!!
ОтветитьBack in the 70s and 80s, alcohol destroyed a lot of lives. We only learn by looking backward
ОтветитьSome of the greatest solos are on that album. His jazz influences are what makes him such a great player.
ОтветитьI was in love with him!! He eas so HOT! HIS HAIR WAS SO AWESOME WHEN HE PERFORMED. JUST SAYING. (SIGH) ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьWould of never recognized him. He carry’s himself well at this age! He definitely had the looks and the talent when I was a teenager! ❤
ОтветитьI worked in the Record Industry in a warehouse. And we all were young 18-23 most of us. And there was such a tension about Frampton's Come Alive album; of which we shipped thousands. It sold millions off the bat but then withered on the vine quickly. Dud! Even to a 19 y/o it was apparent he was trying to hard where ALIVE was a compilation of his 1st 3 albums done live with verve and panache. Happy to be doing it. Then....what do they want? I felt, "Poor Peter." Before it was even released! Guaranteed disappointment. As the years passed he was no longer "Overkill" but recognized as a great singer/songwriter guitarist and then was acknowledged for his talents. Got a instrumental of the year award I think, "Off the Cuff" or something like that in the early 2000's. Hey, he was in Humble Pie at one time.
ОтветитьHe was soo good, loved his music, I saw him as a teenager around 75 in New Orleans, great memories 💙
ОтветитьThanks for the Frampton interview I feel like listening to some Peter Frampton music!❤
ОтветитьDan Rather is such a great interviewer
ОтветитьMy sister had his Frampton album, which we both loved. Then I got Frampton Comes Alive. We wore out the grooves of both of those albums! ❤
ОтветитьHis ”I’m In You” album was unfairly slagged by a**hole critics… it holds up extremely well today…so overlooked
ОтветитьLegend ❤
ОтветитьI went to his first “final” concert a few years ago. He is STILL very a very impressive musician and engaged with the audience. He loved his fans and we loved him back. See him if you can!
ОтветитьMost underrated guitarist EVER!!! He shows the world how its done
ОтветитьA big crush in the 70s. I had a huge poster in my bedroom ❤
ОтветитьIts okay I still think the world of you 😘🤗 remember there can never be another Frampton ! And man you made history instantly!
Best wishes! ❤
I saw him in concert in 76 and again in 2019. He was great both times. Love his music.
ОтветитьYou’re more handsome than ever! Last Day on the Green, Oakland EPIC. I was 16.
ОтветитьYou’re more handsome than ever! Last Day on the Green, Oakland EPIC. I was 16.
ОтветитьShould never have made Sgt. Peppers lonely hearts club band movie, completely destroyed his career.
ОтветитьWhy these guys give loyalty to a "business" that gives nothing back is a mystery to me!It takes all kinds!
ОтветитьI remember summer nights cranking Frampton Comes Alive on an 8 track stereo in a convertable VW Beetle. Awesome memories
ОтветитьPeter aged well. Still beautiful.
ОтветитьOut of all rock stars, movie stars, I'd rather have a beer with Peter Frampton. I'd ask him about Bowie.
ОтветитьCongratulations on 14 years !!
Me too. lol. 04/13/10.
The "Never Never Land" is when people on the staff constantly fill your head with compliments. Putting make up on your face in the dressing room and telling you how great you are over and over. Propositioning you ...whatever?
Youre just a skilled musician and worked hard to be one since childhood and they just want to focus on how cute you are. They begjn revolving your success around sex. They cover you with garbage . Street rubbish! Sexually promiscuity. Dirt! Shallow and pointless ideas derived from a world all about sex and drugs....and not music. Its a phony situation
I was walking around my block the other day and saw a CD laying in the grass so I picked it up and it's Frampton Comes Alive. I was like Killer. I was 11 when that album came out and it has so much meaning to me. When I first moved into this little house when I was 19 I played that album a lot. Lines On My Face the Do You Feel Like We Do side 4.
Ответить"Do You Feel Like We Do" is one of my favorites. Peter, you rock!
ОтветитьPart of what made Frampton Comes Alive was the proliferation of disco. When Frampton got airplay rockers rallied behind the album. Same thing happen with Nirvana and the proliferation of rap. "Smells Like Teen Spirit" was the rallying point for rockers who hated rap.
ОтветитьFrampton Comes Alive was one of the best concerts I have attended !
ОтветитьCongratulations on your sobriety Peter.
ОтветитьI saw Peter Frampton for my 16th Birthday in the summer of 1976 in Boston, what a time of life it was.. I truly miss those days ❤
ОтветитьAlive and im in You great albums. You have to wonder and Frampton is not the only one but its been 45 years of work and you couldnt find a hit? Whats up with that?
ОтветитьShe looks 50 at most.. Elvis started performing again at age 34.. Did 200 shows a year for the next 7 years until he left the planet..
Ответить❤ still have a poster photo on my wall!
ОтветитьDan was exposed as a fraud. Ended his news career in disgrace. Just like Brian Williams. 😊
Ответить'Frampton comes alive' and 'Boston' were Huge albums! ✌🏽
ОтветитьHe put out that live album when I was 14. I do not remember any live album being so impactful. It seemed to be on the radio everywhere. Great album. That really screwed him afterward, as he could never come close to that greatness again.
