proud of my teenager years that I was always ahead of time n mature than others bcuz I did find PLL stupid n dumb with occasional suspense. But immedietly as a 15/16 year old when the show was on thought how creepy and wrong aria and ezras relationship was! while others were shipping them

The only ones I think didn't age terribly are my so called life and felicity. Definitely cringe moments but still relevant and rewatchable

I feel like when I have kids, I don’t want them to watch shows that I don’t also watch because I think it’s way too easy for kids to misinterpret things as being good that aren’t. However, I also know I can totally control what they watch past a certain age

In the comics Archie and Sabrina are in the same universe, so magic does exist in Riverdale. It's still CW trash though.

There is a reason I never warched any of those shows . . .most romance in conventional media is absolute trash too, no matter what age is targeted, but with teen romance it is especially bad

There is one good movie about a guy being attracted to a minor out there. Copenhagen. Guy in his thirties meets a girl on a trip, knows she is younger, but not how young. Nothing really happens but she is clearly into him, he asks how old she is I think she claimed 19 but its a bit fishy. He finds out she is 14 and that seals IT. He is still attracted to her and she tries to push him but beyond a kiss while they are drunk he puts his foot down and reject her, because he cares for her! It does not uses "he did not know at the beginning" or their genuin Feelings of connection as an excuse, he knows it wrong and he is the adult it is his responsability to say no and so he does!


I hate how media uses "love" as an excuse foe everything, abusivw parents nd partners, age differences, cheating . . . No, neither of those arw ok and excusable by "but they love them"!!!

And then you have firefly where she is not even a minor and tgrows herself at him and everyone is ready to give him hell should he abuse her apparent naivity while he is not even that interested to beginn with

The way that CHILD me thought ezria was disgusting but my mum shipped them... Also in Phantom of the Opera: just romanticising a middle aged man watching and kidnapping a teenager. I always thought it was creepy af but she loved it 🥴

Glee was satire, and Mr. Shuester was the woke one. Mr. Shue was also an emotionally underdeveloped man-child who was trying to live vicariously through a bunch of teenagers.

I need a whole series of Casey Aonso commenting over the 6 seasons lf glee like if she had been stranded on that writting room or under Ryan Murphy’s bed

Glee has the best one-liners and most clever dialogue out of all these shows. I mean Riverdale was embarrassingly laughable at how hard they tried to have even a small fraction of the, edgy, biting dialogue that Glee effortlessly pulled off even in its worst episodes.

Pll was so full of plot holes, that is their biggest crime

omg pretty little liars is my personal favorite disaster show. my roommate and i would just yell at the tv and criticize their outfits and how these idiot girls thought they were detectives and the plot omg the plot. i love it and its the worst😂❤

If you never have, I highly recommend watching Alex Meyers’ videos on Riverdale. He’s an animator and recaps every season, and you grasp the plot and utter insanity that was the show without having to watch any of it. It’s phenomenal.
