First of all, yes, you are supposed to apply thick oils, like coconut oil, to your hair strands to seal in the moisture, but WHEN APPLYING PEPPERMINT, LAVENDER OR ANY OIL THAT IS A 'PURE ESSENTIAL OIL' ,WHICH ALL 3 OF THESE OILS ARE, THEY MUST BE APPLIED WITH A CARRIER OIL SUCH AS JOJOBA, BLACK CUMIN, OLIVE, FRACTIONATED COCONUT, SWEET ALMOND, ROSEHIP, BLUEBERRY SEED OIL AND SO MANY MORE. YOU FAILED TO MENTION THIS TO YOUR VIEWERS! I WOULD CALL THIS 'A SCHOOL BOY ERROR'

There's no such thing as peppermint oil, or tea tree oil. More aptly, they are oil infused with peppermint leaves, tea tree etc. Unlike avocado or olives, do not produce any oil. The growth oils you mentioned are carrier oils that are infused with said ingredients.
