We dont need worry it wont undergo fission. The bomb has acummulated too much americium and neptunium from atomic decay. These need to be chemically refined out with exotic chemicals and processes involving remelting plutonium metal. This needs be done every how ever many years to keep the bombs in operational order. The bombs we lost are way way past their expiration dates. They would only go off with a thud and maybe spread a little bit of radioactive materials into a small area but no actual fission explosion would occur. It would just be the conventional explosive.
