They were 4/5 on 4th downs. 2 of which were TD's. They were 4th and inches on that play they gained 7 yards to run the clock out for the FG. They also managed the clock better then GB. They had the ball 13 min longer than GB. That makes a huge difference in a game.

It was a shootout bc the Lions gave the Packers short fields that they converted. Lions undermanned defense allowed less than 300 yards and dominated time of possession.

Patrick sounds like he has no familiarity with the Detroit Lions' football team - '"all these shootouts" ?! That was the first "shootout" they've had to play all season. Peaking too soon?! How can you " peak" when your whole defens8ve line is injured?! Plus, he simply has no respect for the team. Obviously, it won't end until the Lions seal the deal (btw, they were four out of five on fourth down last night, not three out of four).

If we took the mindset of playing it safe, the game would just be teams punting it back and forth until maybe someone ended up being able to kick a field goal.
