Sure, they blow it off proportions, but i THINK (i'm no specialist) that it's a domino effect scenario. If the Chechens go to war, Putin will need to divert troops from Ukraine and border protection to control the situation. The thinning of the lines may allow ukrainians to get bolder and press for Moscow, gnawing support for Putin, that'll have to reinforce Moscow's "policing", further allowing the war to become a dire situation, with ukrainian attacks on refineries strangling the Russian economy and the coziness of moscovites. That may lead to a mass conscription and THEN there could be pockets of resistance that MAY cause internal struggles... That's not the same as a civil war, but that can haste the end of Putin's regime if he doesn't have an ally in the White house.

Is there a civil war brewing in Russian territories yes. Because it hasnt happened yet no. Will there be a civil war eventually or disruptions in that area? Yes. Is there a big civil war that will disrupt in Russia eventually? yes. Is this video although providing amazing context and historical information splitting hairs? Pretty much.

An interesting fact is that kadirov forces or Ахмат units are really hard to identify or distinguish. There are akhmat in the DoD, akhmat in police/national guard, akhmat pmc and other. So when people are talking about "chechens" fighting or policing in a specific territory, even for russians it is difficult to ubderstand which ones are there

This isnt a sign that Chechnya is gonna break away from Russia and start a collapse of their federation. Much rather, its a sign that the foundations of the federation are starting to crumble while the war in Ukraine continues to distract Putin. Even if Putin wins in Ukraine, it has crippled the nation diplomatically and internally. It will be much like North Korea for the next decades if things dont change.

What an absolutely silly rumor; there isnt a single pair of balls left in all of Russia. How do you think they got in this mess in the first place? It takes huge ones to consider rebellion; i guarantee you that thought has never once crossed the mind of 99.99% of all people currently living in Russia.

The conditions where civil war can occur:
1-Low popularity of the ruling party.
2-low stability in the country + an agent completing the uprising operation.
3-The focus tree choices that forces a civil war!

To clarify about the wahabbi part, the group itself officially does not exist, rather it is a name ascribed to said group by other groups mayhaps with negative intentions. Which the name originates from Muhammad Ibn Wahab, a person who was instrumental in refreshing islam in the Najd region, in a time when muslims essentially followed islam in name, but did not practice its authentic teachings and committed various taboos. The groups is actually called Ahli Sunnah Wal Jamaah or Salafiyyah which to summarise means following the Quran and the sunnah (teachings of the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him) according to how the pious predecessors understood and practised. Said pious predecessors being the first three muslim generations, including the generation when the Prophet (peace be upon him) was still alive. If one were to be sceptical of its authenticity, let's just say there's a whole science of proving its truthfulness, tracing a chain of narrators dating back to the original speaker.

The reason why the paragraph above was stated is to show that authenticity is taken very seriously. Of which a scholar once said, extremism isn't born from learning the religion, rather it is from ignorance of the religion. To get to the point, when it comes to rulers there are a set of islamic rules muslims must abide with, which are derived from the Quran and Sunnah with the understanding of the pious predecessors. In this case, muslims must abide a muslim ruler even if they are evil, meaning no going against said ruler, but if they order a muslim to sin then it should not be followed. As a scholar, i think it was Ibn Taymiyyah said something along the lines years under an oppresive ruler is better, than one day without any ruler. Which shows that if forbidding evil leads to even more evil, then it should be abandoned.

So in this context, said terrorist groups are not wahabbi as they have gone against an important teaching in islam in regards to obedience towards muslim rulers. Rather maybe a closer description would be the khawarij group, which has been around since near the beginning and led to the end of the Rashidun Caliphate. They are not one whole group per say and more of a category.

I apologies if there are any mistakes, if i was impolite and if it asks more questions than it answers. Im not a scholar nor a student of knowledge of islam, im just a laymen

It was proven that the FSB the Russian intelligence agency which Putin was leading were behind the apartment building attacks in Russia. If ur gonna talk about historic events then atleast try to tell it accurately. And for ur info the Chechen and Russian wars had nothing to with Islam or islamist there might have been few Islamist that came from the Middle East to try and help the Chechens but it was mostly a struggle for independence. U keep trying to push this Islamic and Islamist motivation for the conflict between Russia and the Chechens which there was non
