ОтветитьBOSS is the GOAT
Ответитьthat Boss Slicer sounded freaking amazing!
ОтветитьI was fully expecting Rob to get the Waza Metal Zone and the regular Metal Zone
ОтветитьI always think boss are like the 'Macbook' of pedals.
Sure you can bling out a gaming rig, with loads of added extras and RGB, but if you want a functional, reliable product line with a pleasing, but unexciting aesthetic, you get a mac / boss pedal. :)
What pedals would I pick? I think Delay, Reverb, Chorus, Flanger (although I like Phasers more), Boost, Fuzz
ОтветитьBoss pedals always look and sound professional. That's what a like about Boss pedals.
ОтветитьBoss IS Boss, Ther Katana Go, its your whole pedalboard and then some, the only thing that is going to out do it Is a wireless transmiter/receieve combo Pack with its own onboard rechargable battery pack that will end all comers, the entire sweet of acutriments can be made smaller than a pedal now, the only way to evevate the game is to be full wireles sending and recieveing with one unit. Boss should consult me, it should have already been out 3 yrs ago, and they managed to drop the ball with the Katana GO's form factor witch is a rediculase erroer to make in this day and age.
ОтветитьI’ve seen videos on the ir 2 ir200 katana amps and multiple pedals but you guys don’t seem to have anything with the ev 30. Maybe next time you do a boss video include that? I think I understand what it does and how it works? But you guys make fun videos and that would be a cool addition. I can’t be the only newbie who would appreciate that? Maybe I am?
ОтветитьAngry Driver first, of course lol
ОтветитьI have a feeling it's an unusual choice, but I absolutely need a tremolo pedal on my board. Not for any song I play in particular, just as an occasional (or however it's spelt) effect like having it on while letting the last chord ring out in a song. I rarely use it if I'm playing alongside a second guitarist or keyboardist, but in a power trio, a tremolo is a must have for me

Where's the Super phaser?!
ОтветитьMagic moment at 10 min
ОтветитьLet Buckethead take the Slicer i'll take the Tremolo.
ОтветитьSlicer is the only pedal you have to turn off to save the jam.
ОтветитьIt think BOSS is still "the Boss". After 20+ years of playing and building my own amps and effects, I have to admit, their pedals are high quality and extremely versatile. This isn't enough: They come up with really interesting circuits. I mean take a look at the mega distortion circuit, or the blues driver. Clever design and good pricing. But guess what? People often need a "boutique" pedal for their egos....
ОтветитьToin coss
ОтветитьIs Lee saying “toin coss”?!?
Ответитьfun
ОтветитьNice old style Chappers and Captain video. Cheers guys!
ОтветитьWhat messes me up is that I have the regular metal zone not the waza
ОтветитьSlicer is the MVP.
(Most Valuable Pedal)
Metal Zone is good fun on bass!
ОтветитьAt least buy a wig!! 😢
ОтветитьI'd get the GE7, Dimension C, analog delay, DD3, angry driver and the reverb. Yes, 2 delays.
ОтветитьOnly thing I don't like about Boss pedals is that they are ALL buffered. Stack several of them in your chain and you start to get tone suck.
ОтветитьBoss Distorion DS-X1 is the best DS model, imho. Thing sounds heavy af and nice and clear.
ОтветитьI'm not a pedals guy (tho I do play primarily thru a Helix, even though I've got a tube amp), but I do have the MT-2, and I'd say the one pedal I most want in the world, which I cannot find on the Helix, is the Blues Driver.
Ответить6 pedals, Metal Zone (waza) BD-2 (waza) Fuzz (waza) Dimesion C (waza) DM2 (waza) Tremolo
Covers anything from 50's/60's rock through to modern metal, and I could even blag some blues out of it too
You need to try a lot of expensive shit to find out Boss has some many pedals that cant be beat in their own game. Plus controls are recessed, shape & size are convenient and they will last forever.

If I was limited to only 6 boss pedals on a board it would be: BP-1w Booster Preamp, Angry Driver, Octave, Dimension C waza, DD-200 delay, and RV-200 reverb.
ОтветитьTu-2 obvious first choice
ОтветитьSix boss pedals for me would be in a pedalboard :
1) Boss NS 2
2) Boss SD 1
3) Boss DA 2
4) Boss DD 3
5) Boss MO 2
6) Boss OC 5
There was a period in the mid-80s whereby, if you walked into a music store - in the U.K. at least, and not a Denmark Street store, a provincial one - there pretty much was only BOSS; maybe DOD, MXR in specialist shops, and then a load of inferior brands like Rocktek. Zoom didn’t get started until the late 80s/early 90s, and if you wanted a long reverb it usually came from an Alesis rackmount unit that you couldn’t afford anyway. Guitarists of certain age will know what I mean!
ОтветитьI grew up playing in the 80s, and the 80s guitar sound must be ingrained to me because the Boss pedals just sound right to me - even thought I have quite a few of the new pedals.
Ответить“Boss is Best”.. JHS
ОтветитьThe boss chorus is so loud thank you 🙏 I choose the mxr after that all boss pedals are candies in a magic box 🎉
ОтветитьYep Boss is still the boss of effects. Even the multi effects pedals.
ОтветитьWhere is the Holy Grail ???🤷🤦
(OD-3)
Oops! Drop the CS-3 and add the DD-8.
ОтветитьWhere's the NS-2?
ОтветитьMy very first pedal choice is, definitely, Blues Driver BD-2, of course 🙂
ОтветитьWhy would you choose the blues driver when the angry driver has it combined with another bonus pedal?
ОтветитьThe good old toin coss aye 😂
ОтветитьTuner, Compressor, Trem, Super OD, EQ, Chorus.I have my pedal board on my channel ... 🙂
