Such a powerful interview. Thanks for sharing, Jay. I’m sure I’m not alone staring at the amazing physique of the 1993 flex wheeler, dreaming about how great it would be to have that symmetry and look, not knowing that the young man on stage was truly suffering. Things are certainly not always what they seem. That’s for sure. It’s also positive now that he speaks so openly about his struggles to help many men and women with the mental health issues they are facing more and more these days. Thanks so much for having Flex on.
ОтветитьI'm late to the party. Very powerful words by Flex! It struck a cord with me.
ОтветитьRemember it doesn’t matter if you’re, “gay or straight or….lesbian” - Flex
ОтветитьLove Flex but he keeps playing a victim all his life
ОтветитьFirst time hearing this interview. Powerful wisdom from these 3 men. I knew Jay and Flex were great bodybuilders, but there even greater men .
ОтветитьFlex had one of the best physics period. Incredible.
Ответить“I wish i could go back and tell that kid man enjoy yourself, look what you’re doing, love yourself, you deserve to be here”
ОтветитьHey jay do you believe on god
ОтветитьAmazing podcast guys 👏👏
ОтветитьJay is right. Flex is the best body in the history of BB. NO ONE ever come close even now.
ОтветитьFlex deserves happiness. Been through a lot in his life and likely suffers from imposter syndrome, despite being a legend in his field.
Lovely guy ❤
Phil Heath had a good shot at having the best physique at one time
ОтветитьI’m sorry I can’t watch this it’s too close to home. Flex seems such a nice guy. And having Jay the interviewer you can’t get any better
ОтветитьMariusz Pudzianowski was a strong now a fighter
Ответить2 of my favs just down to earth talking about some deep stuff. This is one of the things that's good about social media. I get to see what kind of ppl my childhood heros are as people and there character and in no way is there character a disappointment whatsoever! And I'd just like to say... bodybuilders get judged as some kind of a narcissistic self absorbed individuals by the masses, which couldn't be further from the truth. There all about sharing there knowledge and passing it down to others and helping them with whatever there goals are. Then you have UFC fighters and I'd say 70% of those guys are arrogant self absorbed they even beat the crap out of there sparring partners and laugh about it. There's nothing more admirable then someone who is praised by many and then they still have the time to care for others and focus on helping others and sharing deep stuff and being vulnerable about there struggles. It's brave and fearless sharing one's inventory , that's true masculinity no hiding behind an ego. Thanks Flex and Jay God bless
ОтветитьI met flex at the beacon theatre of the 1993 Ms Olympia and he signed a poster i had of him when i was a kid starting out in bodybuilding . He seemed like a very confident cool guy . As I’ve gotten older i know because someone is smiling on the outside doesn’t mean there’re not destroyed on the inside in pain . Give the guy respect for changing his life and perspective on things .
ОтветитьHis idea for supplements in irresponsible. Jumping on the bandwagon of fake supplements that don’t do anything for anyone but pushing people to buy them when people are struggling just to buy groceries.
ОтветитьWow, one of the best podcast yet
ОтветитьI met my idol (flex) at the 18 NY pro. Very humble man. Who knew he was this deep and relatable. Wish i had the opportunity to chat with him more instead of fan boying.
ОтветитьAgain, great content. Thank you for the stories and inspirational messages. Very insightful information about a sport I was always interested in since my middle/high school years in the 80’s. Love it. 💪💪
ОтветитьImagine fixing your wall and Flex Wheeler and Jay Cutler come over to stop you 😂
ОтветитьMy favorite bodybuilder of all times
ОтветитьYoure awesome Flex! I relate very well with you.
ОтветитьFlex Wheeler is undeniably one of the greatest bodybuilders of all time. His impeccable symmetry and perfect muscle proportions set a high standard in the sport. It's a testament to his dedication and artistry that he achieved such a legendary status. While modern bodybuilding trends have shifted towards bigger physiques, Flex Wheeler's legacy of balance and aesthetic excellence continues to inspire and remind us of the sport's true essence.
ОтветитьNO A ANABOLICS RIP THESE DRUGS😮😮😮😮
ОтветитьFlex sounds like he larned a lot and seems much more grounded than he used to.
Ответитьwow flex very philosophical
ОтветитьFlex oiler;;;;; the syntol guy. party ,local injections, e losing members
Ответитьone of the worst cases of syntol abuse, and nobody says nothing. the judges are just given prizes for oil.. not for muscle
ОтветитьMan i feel for Flex, flex may have the Greatest physique ever. Its appointed unto men once to die after that the judgement,u die its Heaven or hell He that hath the Son hath life. He that hath not the Son hath not life
ОтветитьThis podcast saved my life
ОтветитьFlex needs to quiet up change his mood. Every interviews depressing AF. I feel bad but you all he was not a nice guy to others. Who wants to do business w him? Stay quiet we all know Fresno where im also from sucked but deal w health quietly. Hes up and down w every aspect money, health, marriage, its a cycle. I speak from my experiences w health battles and depression and did this. Now at 50 im living.
ОтветитьFlex is inspired by everyone haha.
ОтветитьHow doesn’t this have 2M views 😢😢
ОтветитьI've always loved Flex Wheeler. This was a great interview. Good job Jay!!!
Ответить"Good for you, you could read" Hit me hard.
ОтветитьMan…😢. I needed this Podcast. Flex is the interview I didn’t know I needed. It’s so refreshing to see someone so one of one be so transparent and raw. He was always one of my favorite bodybuilders. So happy to hear his story and the psyche of a broken man. What a blessing to see him still here being able to share his truth. Great Job Jay!!!
ОтветитьI think it was the cover of NPC News magazine with Flex in yellow trunks that was the one that stands out maybe 93? I was working at GNC at the time at like 21 years old just amazed at his physique..
ОтветитьBodybuilders loaded with confidence....yeh, if you dont take in account why they did start that sport in the first place.
Most (incl. myself in 1979)started coz of insecurities....then the bodies evolves coz of the training...but the insecurity is still there. I dont say it s wrong to focus on your body, I did too...but u must leave enough space to evolve spiritually also. To find out about that insecure-thing...the why (lies mostly in the youth). Otherwise in the end you are the 120kg ripped tank...but inside the same litte insecure boy. Me professional artistic painter...I adored Flexes physique sooo much, I did paint him...the only bodyuilder I did ever paint. AND I never sold it, still have it, would love to give it away to Flex (yeh, I know, not gonna happen...xd)...other than that, It ll stay with me. I had offers, I always denied. I am superproud on Flex....the spiritual jumps he made are great...looooove his actual attitude....all the Best from Switzerland to Flex Wheeler....
iT SEEMS LIKE FLEX IS A VERY CONSIDERATE AND THOUGHTFUL PERSON.
ОтветитьReal great information.
ОтветитьThat was a great video, brought some tears to my eyes too.
Thanks Guys!
Flex seems like a beautiful human being...
ОтветитьI like how Jay is a fanboy asking Flex stuff
ОтветитьDiscuss how he mentions his father in heaven, blessing him with his gifts, then in the same breath talks how its ok to be gay. 😂😂😂
ОтветитьThe art of conversation right there, great stuff.
