Excelente ideas what's the name of the tool to be able taking the vinyl off from plank?
ОтветитьDo you still use the Stairrods Ali Tramline Transitions? Or is this your new go to method for transitions?
ОтветитьHow do you attach the transitions to the floor? Thanks.
ОтветитьToday I Learned.
Awesome video.
Excellent idea and wotk! Thanks so much for your video🎉
ОтветитьThis is awesome , is this your idea? Very clever. Big box stores should be put in jail for the amount of money they sell transitions for and they never match 100% this is it the best way to do it if you don't have something come with your floor never go to home Depot don't do it ... Some people are a little dumb I guess they trust the name when they say free under pad or free installation they're still adding it into the price which you're paying double for to begin with.
ОтветитьDo you think you could peel off that top layer of vinyl by hand slowly with help from a heat gun? or do you need that type of peeley tool lol
ОтветитьI’ve been a floor layer for 19 years. Been doin big commercial/institutional work for the past 8. Jobs most folks wouldn’t know where to start on. That said, this might be the most insane yet amazingly useful thing I’ve ever seen. I had no idea. And that’s rare
ОтветитьWill double-sided carpet tape work? I only need to make two of these for an exterior door.
ОтветитьWill it work on lamiete?
Ответитьgreat job brother!
ОтветитьUnfortunately in the real world that would never work takes too long to do you might as well buy the proper transition bars
ОтветитьYou are a genius, never would have thought to do something like this. Thanks for the video!
ОтветитьDo you thick this wood work over wood made transitions. Great video
ОтветитьYou’re so creative!
ОтветитьI appreciate your ingenuity... I'm not doing that
ОтветитьHome Depot, Lowes and other flooring companies have joined hands to come after you big time LOL. Nice video, thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьThat is genius 🔥🔥🔥🔥🫡
ОтветитьWhat is the tape you are using??
ОтветитьIf you did this for stair nose, what would you use?
ОтветитьGold video
ОтветитьScrew that takes waaay too long. Just buy the right transition.
ОтветитьTransition strip manufactures hate this guy! I love this, because these are completely customizable by width, etc. Well done!
ОтветитьThe fancy removal tool is nice, but I just finished removing some by hand, and it was no big deal. Thanks for the demo!
ОтветитьWhy don't you answer peoples questions, rather sending hearts. Hymm..like the name of the tape you are using? Just asking.
ОтветитьThank you, thank you, Thank you! The store that I bought my flooring from wants $70 for each 8' transition strip. This will save me a lot.
ОтветитьGENIUS!!!!
ОтветитьFANTASTIC! Greatest helpful video for DIYers and Pros that I have seen. Great job. Where are you selling the peeling off facing tool? Thanks
ОтветитьSorry but I can’t help but notice how unsafe it Is that your not using the tools to push the vinyl through the saw. I literally holding my breath watching this. Otherwise, amazing. Thanks for the tutorial.
ОтветитьWow. I was skeptical but I am thoroughly impressed. Well played sir.
ОтветитьCool
ОтветитьWOW!!!! This has to be one of the most amazing DIY flooring tip I've seen in my 54 yrs.
ОтветитьCurious, what flooring is that that you’re using?
ОтветитьI strongly recommend you watch a few videos on tablesaw safety.
ОтветитьBuddy, you just blew my mind!! Thank-you, I just hope the wear layer will be as easy to peel as yours. Cheers.
ОтветитьGotta say, Fantastic. Thank you, I am doing my own floors and thought I would have to buy off the shelf transitions or pay through the nose for custom. First one took most of an hour, second one 40 minutes. the rest about 20-30 mins each. I am joining some higher, some level, but once you get the basic techniques, you can make just about anytthing you need.
ОтветитьThank you. I made some and it’s exactly what I needed.
ОтветитьDoes this work with high end lvp?
ОтветитьAwesome 👏🏻
ОтветитьI love this! Thank you for sharing
ОтветитьI saw what looks like those pieces at Home Depot in a kit ~6 ft long. Was looking for carpet transitions, but nearby in the luxury vinyl floor section.
ОтветитьI'm just installing vinyl plank in the house, and I came across this DIY as an easy step by step process and perfect match for my flooring. I was so concerned using vinyl and not matching transitions and open stair bullnose. Is there any video for open end stairs? I want to heat and wrap the stair nose, but I am concerned with the stair ends. Great video, I'm not easily impressed, but this was a jaw drop while watching. 😂
ОтветитьCan you give more info on the adhesive tapes used here?? Great vid, BTW
ОтветитьWhere can I buy the tool, you put on your drill to pull the plank off.
ОтветитьOr just buy the exact color pre-made transition piece. Most of the time there is an exact color
ОтветитьYES Finally
Some one did it !
This is exactly what I was looking for
Thanks🔥💯
A silencers 😂… was the real winner here …🤯
ОтветитьToo much work to save 10 dollars
ОтветитьThis is an amazing tip these moulding can be very costly to purchase these look amazing and could save soooo much money.
