Matriculate means "enroll" so you can't matriculate to somewhere.
ОтветитьHe could have been one of the best if it wasn’t for mental illness
ОтветитьIt's RBI!!! NOT "RBIs". Think about it. You'll get it.
ОтветитьWe all have our flaws but it's sad to see it drive them to their ruin. But shaking his dong at his family was pretty ridiculous. Dude must be miserable not inflicting his will on people.
ОтветитьMLB Angry Dude tournament...
Albert "Don't call me Joey" Belle vs. Milton Bradley in one bracket...
Carlos Zambrano vs. Amir Garret in the other.
Winners face off in a cage in Vegas at Mandalay Bay.
Why are you trying to excuse his behavior?
ОтветитьGreat player but a big pre-Madonna asshole!
Ответитьbig baby
Ответитьas a fan, i respected/feared Albert Belle's bat, but i didn't want him on my team. two stories, both involving Bernie Williams
story 1: when Bernie Williams was nearing free agency, the talk was that the Yankees had leverage because if they don't sign him, they can just go out and pick up Albert Belle. Yankees fans did not like that idea. we chanted "Bernie don't go, Stay Bernie Stay" with all our hearts from the bleachers
story 2: even though i didn't care much for the guy, i think Belle was unfairly maligned for launching Fernando Viña into the East River. i couldn't tell you if it was that same year, the year before, or the year after, but Bernie Williams shoved 2B Carlos Baerga to break up the double play, Baerga tried to make the play at first, didn't, and no one blinked an eye, presumably because Bernie wasn't 210 lbs of pure angry muscle. it was the same act, but Angry Albert threw his shoulder into it
This guy is one of the dirtiest players in baseball, he needs to be gone.
ОтветитьIt's a shame that the HOF voters care about grudges that they can't put people in the HOF who statistically deserve it. Makes all HOFs extremely flawed.
ОтветитьFinally a baseball video that isn't sponsored by bookmakers.
ОтветитьYour content is too good not to have good sound. It’s not clear most of what you’re saying. I don’t know if it’s a technical issue or you’re talking too fast.
ОтветитьUsually, when you hear the phrase "playing angry" it's talking about football, but Belle was the definition of playing angry. His 50/50 season was a miracle to watch as a young Indians fan.
Ответитьmassive hof snub
ОтветитьSounds like early use of roids…like starting at 16 or 17.
ОтветитьHe should be in the hall and they stole two mvps from him at least
ОтветитьF this guy! No one wants his card.
ОтветитьRemember seeing him at a browns game at the old stadium. Just walking by himself. Dude had enormous quads
ОтветитьGreat video, onee of my favorite players from that era;
ОтветитьNot defending him, but the father and daughter that saw him peeing in the parking lot didn't have to keep looking, and to yell at someone to stop peeing is kind of stupid.
ОтветитьHe was a bully
ОтветитьI was a big Red Sox fan back then, but it was an absolute travesty that Mo Vaughn won the MVP in 1995. Belle had an absolute monster year, and was better than Vaughn in every respect, and the Indians were a far better team.
ОтветитьMost dangerous player, consider Ty Cobb would be a close race. My favorite memory was of Albert getting hit by a pitch and refusing to take first base.
ОтветитьI lived in Cleveland in the 90s. I don't know how often it actually happened, but it felt like any time Belle batted in the 9th there was a chance for a walk-off homer. Made for a lot of interesting games.
I couldn't have cared less whether he liked sports reporters or not, I just wanted to see him play. Of course, since he hated them and they hated him, his coverage was always bad, and he didn't get the HOF votes he deserved based on his stats.
Way to speed up the hit on vina. Almost like you have a narrative. Be better
ОтветитьYou forgot about his nickname "Mr Freeze."😅
ОтветитьThome and Manny could mash, but Belle scared the crap out of everyone. He made them the big, bad Indians. ⚾️💥
ОтветитьSteroids. Not in the Hall because of Steroids. Mentally unstable because of Steroids. Albert would shoot Steroids into corks, then pack those into his bats, just in case.
ОтветитьAn understanding of the psychiatric effects of anabolic steroid use might be the better stepping stone toward understanding Belle's behavior (in the 90's).
ОтветитьI grew up a Cardinal fan,but I had favorite players on other teams, and Belle was for a while my favorite non cardinals player.
I even bought an Indians hat 🧢 😆
The batting style was iconic.
Low hands and an arm barred front arm.
Hitting coaches today would be telling him to change his stance so he can hit .215 like everyone else 😆
Oh geez. It's always race... 🤦🤦
ОтветитьAs an Orioles fan, it pains me to think what Belle could have done in Baltimore if he had stayed healthy. He was a beast!
ОтветитьHow on earth no one has ever tied him to PED’s is beyond me…!!!
ОтветитьFull contact baseball?Would be sick
ОтветитьBelle was the Mike Tyson of baseball. Arguably the best player of the 90s. I loved this dude.
ОтветитьAlbert Belle was a walking black force. I'm glad he played most of his career with the Tribe
ОтветитьOne or two more injury-free seasons and it would be impossible to keep him out of the Hall
ОтветитьWell well well
ОтветитьWould love to leave an honest and insightful comment about Albert situation but your censors/filters don't allow me to post it.
ОтветитьRoid Rage, ghetto mentality bad combination.
Ответить@ 1700 Bro aged 😢
ОтветитьOh no! He heard a racial slur, my god what a violent assault.
ОтветитьI’m also an Eagle Scout!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸 I achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in December of 2007 at age 15.
ОтветитьCorked his bat in little league.
ОтветитьRoid rage
ОтветитьCharacter is destiny
ОтветитьI don’t care what anyone says about Albert. He was the best clutch power hitter in the 90’s and a lot of sissies were butthurt about his dimeanor because they knew he was a better hitter than anyone else on the field. The hate for Cleveland still goes back to the mid-90’s, and everyone seeing the most talented home-grown team come from nothing, to being put together in a consistent contender still lives today. Not getting an MVP in ‘95 was an embarrassment for the sport and should go down as an asterik.
