Great job there!
ОтветитьThanks for the tip Jeremy. What engine is the carb off of?
ОтветитьWanted to see it run
ОтветитьAnother Great Video! 👍
ОтветитьWhen i first started working on small engines if i wasn't sure about something i would ask my dad and i would always pay attention to how it comes apart and made sure i had the right tools
ОтветитьBet thw idle.screw buttons up!
ОтветитьThe purpose for those "Eye Brows"?
ОтветитьGood catch, 👍👍. That’s why always take pictures of stuff before I take it apart, saves a lot of aggravation, lol.
ОтветитьThat is super common, it's funnier when it's the governor though, because the throttle will be absolutely through the roof in some cases where the governor fails or is disabled.
ОтветитьGreat video MM1 most of the head scratches that come into my shop are correcting customers repairs.
ОтветитьMany people have no business trying to fix stuff. I may sound harsh but i deal with this at work to much. Like i tell the boss people think small engine repair is easy but cars, appliances require a pro not to be attempted at home.
ОтветитьThey use several different versions of those baffles on that carburetor and little information on which to use
ОтветитьYes sir. Great video my friend. Careful visual inspection will save time and headaches. Those plastic intakes with a two barrel carb. are bad about warping and sucking air also, causing a surge.
ОтветитьWhen you're right you're right. I like the way you approach every job as if it were the only important thing in your day.
ОтветитьParts installed incorrectly, causes a heap of trouble.
ОтветитьTake pictures if you come across something you never seen or did it even help's if your waiting on a part an it sits for a week or two
ОтветитьLots of times it's just the little things that cause so much trouble, ain't it? That's why us mech's have no hair now.
ОтветитьIs that a Duck back there?
ОтветитьFirst time I came across those E-torx I had a 12 point socket that worked. A year or so later I realized what they actually were and got a set of E-torx sockets. When you need them you'll be glad you have them.
ОтветитьI double nut the studs when they are boogered up to get them out if the E socket won’t get it
ОтветитьYour videos are awesome, thank you

Hi, Had a bad misfire, replaced carburettor. Engine now revs very high. Took engine out replaced with a new governor, did not look damaged at all. Adjusted governor to carb as per instructions.
Still revs high. Noticed the Governor arm does not seem to move througout the rev range. Any ideas? Thanks
Great video! Got my mower running that I got from a friend. He put a new carburetor on it and put the plate in backwards. This video saved me from tearing the motor out thinking the governor was shot!
ОтветитьJust put on a B&S carb. The eyebrows are in the right way,(looked at old one when I was assembling new one). Still running wide open? It might be the throttle rod ,had to bend it when I was taking things apart. You are right about eyebrows plate though. I tried mine before putting it back on my mower. Good video.
ОтветитьBrah, please buy a tripod so you got 2 hands-free operation. Knowledge packed videos keep'em coming MM1.
